My 2nd One (warranty replacement) Died

My first one died just after the warranty period, but Keurig sent a free replacement any. This led me to believe the probelm I experienced was a known problem. Basically, my machine would say it was brewing, but nothing would come out. The replacement is now having the same issue. It hasn't been a year, so I'm curious as to whether or not they will honor their warranty on a machine that was a previous warranty replacement. The machine is fabulous, when working, but they should start being upfront and telling people they only last a year or so.
Pros: Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Short lifespan
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Machine

He's the coffee drinker, I'm the tea drinker and we never taste each others even when brewed one right after the other! We also Love the brew over Ice feature.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Multiple Settings

READ BOOK, CLEAN EVEN IF USING BOTTLE WATER, THIS IS MY SECOND ONE HAD PROBLEM WITH FRIST ONE THEY SENT ME A NEW ONE. JUST CALL AND TELL THEM THERE A PROBLEM AND THEY FIX IT. ONE CUP AT A TIME IS GREAT. OLD MACHINE COOK COFFEE ALL DAY. SO EASEY TO USE MY KNOW IT ALL TEENAGE GRANDKID CAN REALLY MAKE COFFEE. SOMETHING THEY DIDN'T LEARN IN SCHOOL.

My husband gave this to me as a present during nursing school. It is wonderful. The most enjoyable features for me are the cup sizes, removable drip tray to accomodate a tall cup, the large resevior with an awesome blue lighting unit, water temp control , AND built in super speed brewing! I drink coffee and tea all day. My cup may have to sit for a little while I complete a task. I hate returning to a cup of cold coffee. Now instead of rewarming in the microwave, I just put my 1/2 full cup under the brewer , reuse the k cup already there at a lower cup fill setting and I have the perfect refreshed cup of coffee. I can get about 2 cups of coffee out of the kcup just the way I like it, always fresh not microwaved or burnt remains. Nusing students wonder machine ;) THANK you Keurig and Hubby!

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

I loved how you could make one cup at a time. Coffee is always fresh. But I do like the larger cup sizes. I like the McDonalds large which I believe is 16oz. Would also need larger k-cups too I am sure. But it died today. Bought it in June 2010 and here it is March and it's dead. These are too expensive to not even get a year of use out of them. I am really disappointed!!
Pros: Fresh coffee always
Cons: Needs hotter water, Needs larger water sizes

After I broke the glass pot for our 15 year old coffee maker, my husband bought me a Keurig. At first, I thought it would be nice, but I had no idea how much I would like it. We've had it for a little over a month, and use it almost every day. I love that I can have a fresh, hot cup of coffee any time of day in a matter of minutes. It's very easy to set up and start using, and the menus are easy to navigate. A nice feature is that you can set it to automatically shut off, as I do sometimes forget to turn it off when I'm done. So far, the only thing I don't like is that I haven't perfected the My K-Cup yet, and I feel a bit wasteful using the disposable K-Cups.

GREAT COFFEE IN AN INSTANT

Keurig really has a winner with this one. Its easy to use, and quick (as quick as making a cup of instant coffee). No more mornings, having to take the time to brew a whole pot, only to have it go to waste. I simply pick the K-cup flavor I want, and in about one minute, I have a personal cup; of the best tasting coffee I could ever brew. There's no mess to clean up, no grinds to throw out or pot to wash. This is really great!!

Great maker, doesn't seem to last

About to get my 3rd maker. 1st one lasted 2 years, then started leaking. Keurig replaced the second one after 11 months, failed to brew coffee. I still recommend it tho, it makes great coffee with ease.
