Keurig stands behind what they sell!

I've had my B70 for just over a year. I use it every day several times a day quite often. All of a sudden it started shorting the cup or not pumping at all. I tried descaling it and cleaning the nozzle to no good effect. I called customer support and they basically had me do the same things over again. Nothing helped. I was sure I was out of luck since it was out of warranty by a few weeks. The customer support tech then cheerfully apologized for my inconvenience and said they would be sending me out a replacement unit as well as two large boxes of K-Cups for my time. I will always be a loyal Keurig user and fan since this is how they treat their customers. I love this machine and I love how they stand behind their product and just want the customer to be happy. I wished more companies would do the same.
Pros: Iced Coffee, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use

We have had our brewer for over four months now. We have the timer set to automatically turn on at 6:15 am and shut off around 3 pm. De-scaling the brewer was a simple. We use filtered water from our fridge, so the amount of build-up is probably very low. I love the fact that you can make a cup so quickly (without having to measure or make a full pot of coffee) and it doesn't taste like it came from a pot. I recommend this (Platinum Edition) to anyone who is looking to get into a Keurig brewer because of the availability of five different cup sizes. Also, the look of this brewer is the best (in my opinion) out of all of the others in the $100 to $200 price range.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: none

I love my coffee maker, I drink coffee on a regular basis. I even have a caffeine molecular structure tattoo. From the day I bought this coffee maker I have received nothing but compliments. Sad to say my coffee maker broke recently. [...] Because I want my coffee maker to work I obliged. After all was said in done the coffee maker is still broken. With out hesitation the CSR told me I would have a replacement at my door within 5-7 business days. I am happy to say my replacement should be here Friday. I honestly have never worked with a company that was so easy to deal with. They really made me feel like I was important to their company. They advisded me that warranty would begin all over on the new brewer and they even apologized for the difficulty I was having. Even if it wasnt replaced by warranty, I would still end up buying another one as I really like their products. Even my sister bought one and they love it. The CSR passed on a tip that I will probably put into action. After several brews I will run a coffeeless brew just to get any coffee grains out. This and regular descaling of the coffee maker should prolong its life.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: Fragile, HARD TO CLEAN, Limited Cup Sizes, No 16oz

I have had my machine for 3 years and have had trouble with it the whole time. Will not dispense the proper amt. Will not work half the time. Doesn't get hot enough. Doesn't have enough pressure to even push the water through the K-cups let alone the conversion cup to brew your own inexpensive coffee. LOUD ENOUGH to wake the whole house in the morning!
Pros: None
Cons: Unreliable Unpredictible
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Garbage!!!

We love our coffee. Our old coffee maker flamed out after 10 yrs. of daily use. We didn't want another drip-type carafe coffee maker replacement, so we opted for this model and used it with the same frequency as its predecessor. It lasted 2 months before the ONLY mechanical part of this maker failed. That would be the PUMP!! That's a cup in the morning and MAYBE a cup at night. We took it back to [...] and replaced it with the same model, thinking maybe it was just a defective PUMP. The replacement lasted for 10 days and it too, failed! Switching the machine off when not using for extended periods of time is the guideline for this machine which was followed during our absence in the month of Dec 2010, and the same was true with the replacement machine for 2 weeks in Jan 2011. That obviously didn't make any difference towards the life of the maker. Also, the power switch is located inconveniently on the back of the unit. It was easier to just unplug it, specifically when the unit is placed on the counter between other appliances. We wouldn't recommend this maker until an improved pump is supplied. ALL of our common brand name coffee cups require a double fill operation. That is, the maker wouldn't fill the cup completely with one operation so we defaulted the first fill at the second to the largest fill setting, and then in order to finish the fill and using the same K-Cup, we would set the fill manually at the smallest setting. A minor nuisance, but that gave us the strength and flavor that best suited our taste. We really liked the convenience of this maker, but it's obviously not really capable of normal consumer use. Had we not had to perform a "double fill" operation with this maker, it's quite possible this maker would have lasted about 4 months instead of 2, based on the demand of the weakest mechanical function in this maker, the PUMP!. We were still adjusting/experimenting with the K-Cup variations of coffees when # 1 died, and we must say we weren't disappointed with any of them. Sorry Keurig, a great idea, but a bit too soon to put this product on the shelves or any of them if they share the same mechanical components, (pretty sure they do). Like to have that after dinner coffee when the family comes to visit? I don't think this maker can handle the challenge. It's not a question of WILL IT FAIL? It's WHEN......?In conclusion, simply save yourselves the frustration, it's not worth it.
Pros: NOW Coffee, Easy to use, Less than a min ready, K-Cups variety, No messy grounds
Cons: Weak Pump, Power Switch location, Unreliable Pump, Realtime cup sizes, Limited Cup Sizes

I am on my third machine and this time I am only using bottled water. After two months, it appears that this may be the way to go. I recently started using distilled water and the taste hasn't changed, so from now on I will only be using distilled.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use

So Convenient

I am the only coffee drinker in the house, so Keurig is my savior. I can make only 1 cup for myself and not waste all the other coffee. My 3 yr old son loves making me a cup on the weekends. The only downfall I have is that I wish the machine could make my coffee hotter. I love an extra hot cup. Overall I would definitely recommend the Keurig Platinum coffee maker.
Pros: Durable, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish

I have gone through 2 of these machines and after 6 mo they both start short filling. Customer service was great on replacing them. But this is my last try. the machine starts short filling the cups and then it completely stopped work. I followed at the clean suggestions and none of the seem to work. I am pretty tired of having to switch them out. while the machine works, it extremely convient.
