Best invention ever made

I received my keurig coffee maker yesterday (12-2-10), after setting it up, made the first k-cup, was great. I love using the settings to make the coffee just like I want. So, far, no problems, even though I just got it, Idon't know what Idid without it. No more wasting pots of coffee, just make what I want, nice and hot, perfect cup of coffee. After reading the other reviews, I sure hope I have none of those problems, but, heavens, if I do I'll let you know.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Durable, Stylish, Easy to use, Love love love, Accommodates All Cup Sizes

I bought my Keurig Platinum as an christmas present to my self. But couldn't wait that long to use it, so IT"S an early x-mas gift. I have to say..I'm totally in love with it. I will never go back to an auto drip coffee maker again. I love the way it looks on my counter, love the verity of k-up and the fact that there's no waste. I have not so far had any trouble with it like I have read in some of the postings on this site. And I hope I never do..but if I do, I'll replace it in a heart beat! Besides..I have to, I threw out my old drip coffee maker the same day I tryed my Keurig for the first time!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings

Nice system when it works!!

Very nice system when it is working, probably lasted 3 months before the power started acting up. I can make only one cup of coffee and the system shuts off! I have to literally power the system back on to make another cup. The power only shuts off when I try to make a second cup so it's deceiving because you always have hope that it may work that second time! I am waiting for a newer model but wouldn't recommend this one.

Cons: Power Issue

I use my Keurig daily and I've had it a little over 6 months. I don't know how I ever lived before it! This coffee maker is awesome; the process is quick, the water resevior can hold a large amount, the different cup sizes allow for a nice variability and it's overall just what a coffee-lover would need! Enjoy!

I received the Platinum as a gift. I will recommend it because its easy to use, easy to set up and has a variety of K-cups. I also have never had any problems with the Keurig. The auto set on/off feature is also good. Follow the set directions and you're ready for a delicious cup.

Couldn't live without it!

I'd have a very hard time living without my Keurig! I've had my machine for 3 years now (Dec. 2007) and it's still going strong! I've read through some of the other reviews and am surprised to hear some of the issues others have had. I use my machine a minimum of 3 times a day during the week, probably 7-8 times a day on weekends. I've never even descaled it (I don't even know what that entails!). The only thing I can figure is maybe it's due to using filtered water from the refrigerator -- I think our city water from the tap tastes nasty, so I never use it. Regardless, I LOVE my Keurig and it will definitely be replaced with another whenever this one decides to kick the bucket!

2nd one that we have bought. "Upgraded" to the platium version and it seemed to work for a few months and not gives you mystery cups. Sometimes they are filled, other times you will get a quarter or half a cup - sometimes nothing at all. Get random messages to descale. We do it and then get same message two days later. Frustrating!

Love my Keurig!

We've had our machine about 6 months now - due to some of the issues I've seen people write about, I wanted to wait for a bit to give my two cents. I really love this thing, and I love most of the coffee I've tried as well. The only complaint I have is that sometimes I will start the brew cycle and the machine will basically freeze up. I often have to unplug it to get it to reset itself. It's inconvenient but not really a show stopper in my opinion. It doesn't happen often - maybe once a month, if that. I make myself a cup of coffee every morning, and my husband and I each have a cup after dinner most nights. I will drink several cups each weekend morning as well, so our brewer sees a fair amount of use. All in all we are very pleased with our purchase and I would buy another one in a heartbeat!

Cons: Inconsistent Performance, HARD TO CLEAN
