Our 2nd Keurig Platinum in 3 years is now doing it's 'end of life' tricks. Descaling light comes on immediately after descaling. We use filtered water and descaled this one ahead of the regularly scheduled process. Spent too much time on the phone with a technician to learn the fine art of unclogging the sharp piece that pierces the cup. That trick lasts for one maybe two cups of coffee, then descaling flashes again. Shortly after that, we start getting 'short' cups...the pump is not pulling in the appropriate amount for the size chosen. Over $300 wasted with Keurig. You've lost another customer, and have warned friends who saw this in our home and were considering making a purchase to stay away from this model and proceed with caution with other models.
Cons: Poor Quality, Needs re-engineering, HARD TO CLEAN, Poor value, Fragile

A fast, fresh cup each time!

No wasted pots of coffee anymore. Unlike other coffee machines, the Keurig makes each cup freshly brewed. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate can be chosen as well. My wife and I can have coffee while the kids have hot chocolate. All within minutes. Such variety cannot be found on a standard drip coffee brewer. Choosing from the wide variety of flavors and blends is what takes the most time. Excellent product.

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Now on our second replacement in less then two years. Not happy about that at all.

Bought the first one in July 2010 and LOVED IT!!! but it only lasted 5 months. It would not brew the first cup & then the motor continued to run after brewing the second cup. We wasted many k-cups in the process. Descaled & still no better. Returned the brewer to the retailer & swapped it for a new one on 12/11/10 & returned that one the next day because that one also only brewed a partial cup & was pouring water back into the reserve tank. This is our third & last Platinum, should it not work properly. P.S. the box says Platinum & the brewer says K-70 & does not have the iced coffee icon on it like our previous Platinum brewer did. I don't think we have a true Platinum brewer.

Cons: Fragile

This is the only bad model Keurig makes

I had to replace this particular model 4 times before I gave up and got the Cuisinar version on the K-cup brewer. I had B60 that is still working, the small model one is still working but this model stopped pumping the water after the first cup was brewed on every single exchanged models. I have tried every thing and it had the same failure occuring at about the same lenght of time. It was very frustrating because I really like all of their other models and coffee.
Pros: Large water resourvoir, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Sleek design, Stylish
Cons: Quits working in 3 months
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this brewer. I purchased this for myself in black. There is very little clean-up involved. Even my teenage son can use this without making a mess. The beverages taste great. Very stylish in my kitchen.
Pros: Almost no clean-up, Easy to use, No grinds in my coffee, No running out of filters, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Good beverage selections

I HAVE 2 OF THESE COFFEE BREWERS AND JUST ORDERED MY 3RD. I HAVE ONE IN THE KITCHEN AND ONE IN THE FAMILY ROOM. I AM GETTING ONE FOR OUR SUMMER HOME. THIS IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. LOVE THE FACT THAT I CAN HAVE WHAT EVERY FLAVOR I WANT WHEN I WANT IT. MY HUSBAND IS A TEA DRINKER AND LOVES THE WAY IT MAKES HIS TEA. WE ORDER ALL OUR CUPS ON KEURIG SITE, BEST PRICE ALL AROUND. THAT IS HOW I GOT MY 3RD BREWER FOR 1/2 OFF. DON'T THINK TWICE ABOUT THIS ONE. YOU WILL WANT ALL THE DIFFERNT SIZE CUPS AND THIS ONE HAS THEM. STRONG TO MILD. NO ONE CAN COMPLAIN. TO EACH HIS OWN.

On the go and the going is great!

I have had my B70 for a year and I love it! I am giving my sons each one for Christmas. We love the variety of flavors available and no mess to clean up. We can each make the flavor and strength to our individual tastes. I am always on the go and I can make a quick cup of great coffee in my travel mug as I am running out the door. I love it!
