Confused.. I love the machine but.....

I love the machine it self except when I brew hot chocolate it seems to LEAK every time.. But every time I brew coffee or even tea it doesn't leak and pour every where just with the Hot chocolate. Does any one know why it does this?? Or how to even fix it???
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Leaks, HARD TO CLEAN, Not hot enough

Beautiful Machine

Living alone, I love how quick and easy I can make myself a single cup of coffee or tea. What's not so great about it is that, even tho there are multiple cup sizes to choose, the largest one doesn't fill my large coffee cup that I am used to drinking from. Plus when you choose the largest cup size available, the drink strength is far too weak. You pretty much have to stick to the smallest cup size selection in order to get a good flavor.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Be prepared to have to replace

We loved our Keurig, i mean loved it a lot then it stopped working. Of course this happened when our 1 yr warranty exp. It has the same problem that so mant people have after a while. It will no longer pour out water. you can hear it heat the water up and then it will spit out a splash and nothing. Keurig wont help they say to clean the needle and the needle is not the prob. they offered us a 30$ discount to buy a new one. we are not happy

Disappointment

After using the mini Keurig for a year, and loving it, I decided to purchase the platinum K for greater coffee use. I have had problems with the water tank from the beginning, which are getting worse. The machine often flashes that it needs water to brew even though it does not, blinks and wont brew, etc. I am thoroughly disappointed in this brewer.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best coffee maker on the market. And for the guy who says its not hot enough---> READ THE MANUAL - YOU SET THE BREW TEMP ON THE MACHINE...My brother is now getting one for a house warming gift.

Can Keurig EVER make one that lasts?

My first Keurig brewer, a Special Edition, lasted about 18 months, then stopped consistently brewing a full-sized up. Went through litany of service emails/calls with Keurig (they were understanding and very helpful), descaled about a dozen times, nothing fixed it. I replaced mine with a Platinum edition and alas, the exact same problem has emerged after only a couple months' use. About every other cup gives you half the requested amount. Nice waste of expensive coffee. My brewer is descaled and not plugged up. Our water has very few minerals. This is not user error or ignorance. It's faulty equipment. Will return it to store where I purchased, which thankfully has a liberal return policy. But I might just demand a refund, because after two of these -- and seeing all the similar complaints -- I'm convinced these very expensive brewers are simply not ready for prime time. Too bad, because it's a fabulous concept. But alas, they simply do not last in my experience. (A service tech conceded they did have design issues with pumps from some brewers, but "those problems have all been corrected." I would suggest not.
