we recieved this just over a 18 months ago and have used it every day. Then all of a sudden the heating unit in it failed. we really enjoyed the convience of it but the value is not very good for the service. Have had other coffee makers that lasted for years after daily use.
Was hoping this would make lattes as good as the coffee houses, but it can't since water is the starting liquid. The mochas, cafes, hot chocolates are watery but fixable. Just have milk, coffee crystals and/or powdered cocoa and sugar to taste and you have something tasty and quick. Can't beat the consistent quality of the coffees and teas. They make just the right amount in just a couple of minutes. The steps are easy enough for my 10 year old daughter to learn and use often. I don't regret buying one of the more expensive machines.
Pros: Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Fast, Easy to use, Kid Friendly, Stylish
Just bought this K75 to replace a 3 yo K65. On the third day, water is dribbling out of the machine. Volume is 1/4 of what it should be. Argh!!! I am furious, having spent $$$ at a local retailer. Call Keurig customer service. The rep walked me through a few maintenance steps, including cleaning out the upper needle with a paper clip. Doing so, lots of loose grounds were obvious. We ran a few clear water cycles and viola, full pressure and volume! The coffee buyer (my wife) had bought a few brands of coffee that are NOT k-cup approved. They fit and work, yes, but also clog the machine. DON'T USE OFF BRAND CUPS! Kudos to the rep, whose name I did not catch. She was in GA, but said she was from the Buffalo area. Thank you, whoever you are!
We've had 3 Keurigs over about 5 years (only the fist has stopped working), and this has been our favorite. We've had the Platinum for over 2 years now, and it works just as well as the first day we had it. We've brewed at least 4 cups every day for that two years, and there's been absolutely no change in it's operation. Am buying another one for our daughter.
Pros: Extremely Quiet, Fast, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Easy to use
I purchased My Keurig K75 from another vendor. It came with 60 K-Cups and the water filtering system. I have read reviews that gave the water filter a bad rap. It helps if one reads the directions which is what I did. As far as the strength of the coffee, that will change with the size cup that is selected. I like a strong cup of coffee and am able to get that the middle setting, 3rd from the left. The bigger the cup one desires, the weaker the coffee. Also remember, if you do not want a large cup of coffee, but like a mild flavor, you will have to adjust the amount of coffee you use if you use the My K-cup which is what I use. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Fast
Product is definitely too much for the money. After six months of use, stopped working. Call customer service and they indicated device was clogged and gave me instructions on how too unclogged. Device was never clogged and has never worked properly and customer service will do nothing about resolving the problem. Went back to my 12 cup coffee maker for which I can reply on each and every day.
I've had mine for about 2 years now and use it daily. From day one the cup level doesn't seem right and the pump seems very noisy. Other then that it's been working fine and I like the single cup idea. I'd probably buy again just to see if the next one was better.
