Great home brewer with numerous features

This is my second Keurig machine after the entry level unit which was so noisy that it was waking up my kids in the morning! I use this machine in my home on a granite surface. It's easy to setup and fill. The timer feature is very handy when waking up in the morning - no waiting for the long start-up until the unit is ready to brew. The auto-shutoff gives me peace of mind when I'm rushing out the door. The pump has been revised to be fast and very quiet; just a hum is heard after the coffee is brewed. Now the kids stay asleep! That alone makes this unit a winner. It's well made and hasn't given me any problems. I wish it had a hotter temp than the current max, but it's not that big a deal. I find that I often clean it in order to maintain the best tasting coffee and to ensure proper operation. Grinds tend to accumulate around the k-cup lid under heavy use. I use a can of air to blow them away. All-in-all I think this unit is excellent and I highly recommend it!

Cons: Must clean often, Max temp could be hotter, Long initial power-up

Pleasing Surprise

I bought mine after reading reviews and was a little cautious. It has been great I like coffee with a bold flavor and my wife likes CHI tea. No more throwing out pots of cold coffee and I drink what I want when I want.
Pros: Great Iced Beverages, Easy to use, not noisy at all, Hot cup of Coffee
Cons: Didn't get sooner

How was coffee brewed before the Keurig?

Purchased at[@] yesterday as an early holiday gift for my wife. I was sceptical at first, but after setup, and going through the steps to brew my first cup of extra bold Green Mountain, it replaced the space on the counter reserved for the Bunn. Outstanding brewer!
Pros: Spacious design, Perfect brewing, Great timer, Great temperature, Colors complement kitchen
Cons: Doesn't add creamer, Doesn't add sugar, Doesn't do the laundry

received as xmas gift 2009. in short time pot kept shutting off. received replacement and in short time kept shutting off. received replacement and after 5 months only makes a full cup some of the time. did the descaling and paper clip to clean needle like support guy said when I called and it doesn't work. still only makes a full cup at times. for the price I expect it to work better and last longer. [...] would not purchase another Keurig or recommend to others. Next one will be Tassimo. keurig is a very poor quality product. If they would get the problems fixed would be a great coffee brewer.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY MOM ON 10/31/10. AND WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I FIRST SAW IT AT THE MERCEDES DEALER IN MASSAPEQUA WHILE WAITNG TO GET A CAR WASH. THEY HAVE IT FOR THE CUSTOMERS. I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. THE COFFEE, TEA AND HOT CHOCOLATE TASTE GREAT. GOOD FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHEN THEY COME OVER. YOU JUST HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PLENTY OF THE K CUPS AND DIFFERENT VARIETIES/FLAVORS. WHATEVER YOUR BUDGET LIMIT IS, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY FOR THE K CUP. YOU CAN RUN OUT REALLY FAST. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE.

Have used our machine pretty much every day for 3 weeks and LOVE it. Haven't seen any of the problems some folks have explained so far. Love the variety of Keurig offers. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it if you are a coffee fan.
Pros: Multiple cup settings, Perfect temp, Looks sharp
Cons: Runs out of water quickly, A bit pricey
