Great coffee,,,, when you can get it

My KEURIG Platinum worked great for about two months. Sudden onset of problem, I have to start the brewing process three to five times in order to get a cup of coffee, and I never know what size cup will brew. This maker is less than a year old. I see that Quizinart (?) is making a K-Cup brewer. I will try that one next.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile, Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love ours! The coffee tastes great and it heats up pretty fast. You have to use filtered water. We got a second one as a gift and that too is wonderful. It is the best Christmas gift ever. I see the negative replies but honestly we have had no problems at all. We make 3-4 cups a day and it works perfectly!
Pros: Heats up fast, Hot coffee

LOVE it but...

LOVE this machine!! However, I worry about it's longevity. Bought a cheaper model a couple years ago - it too, was awesome - but within it's first year, it was replaced by Keurig's customer service dept. 3 different times - always for the same 'clogging' issue. After a while, I came to realize my tap water might be causing the problem, so I started using bottled water (which, week after week, gets expensive). Not willing to give up on it though, I bought THIS machine - which at the time was $200+. It worked well 80-85% of the time, but every now & then it would do something weird (turn off in the middle of a cycle) or short-cup me....but nothing that was ever a big deal. It hit the 6-month point and bam...everything went wrong with it at once....instead of giving me a full cup of hot water or coffee, cold water started dribbling out whenever it felt like it (to the point that I had to keep it unplugged unless I was using it). I finally called Keurig Cust. Service [...]and they have a replacement machine on the way. I'm concerned that none of the models I've owned have made it past their first birthday, yet I continue to LOVE this coffee. This makes me sad....as I've recommended the thing to COUNTLESS people....and I love using it. I think Keurig just needs to work out the bugs - make sure all their new machines ship with the aftermarket filter - and I'll bet they'll have a lot more incredibly HAPPY customers!

Love the Platinum!

I have had an Elite for 2 years and loved it. But I decided to take that one to work for my office and buy a Platinum for home and I'm glad I did. I love the versatility of having 5 cup sizes. It makes it easier to customize my drinks. I also love how quiet it is. You can barely hear it. I really like the design with the blue lights on the screen and in the water reservoir. It's beautiful on my counter. My favorite part may be the ability to set up on on and off time. So it's available when you need it, but not on 24/7. I would highly recommend this model. Keurig brewers have helped reduce my spend on fancy coffee houses. The brewers have paid for themselves many times over.
Pros: Quiet, Attractive design, Versatile, customizeable

Brewer has a major defect

I've contacted Keurig, as this brewer is defective. The brewer turns itself off all the time. Sometimes it turns itself off when heating the water, and sometimes it does it after making a partial cup of coffee. Once you turn it back on, there is a long waiting period for the water to heat before you can brew. It's a big problem. There is no rhyme or reason to the partial cup issue. Sometimes it only pours 1/3 of a cup, and then sometimes the water keeps flowing and overflows the cup, causing a big mess. This is the model that was sold at [...].Do not buy this brewer!
Pros: Coffee variety, Large water tank
Cons: Turns itself off, Defective, Brews 13 of a cup

Was NOT a coffee drinker until I was introduced to the Kuerig! Yes I did have a defective unit but was EXTREMELY pleased with the customer service dept when explaining my situation. After going thru the steps of eliminating causes Keurig was was happy to replace my unit.[...] Not once did I feel Keurig was giving me the round around in replacing their product and the new warrenty was extended to one year to the date of replacement.A very happy customer and new coffee drinker!!!
Pros: Easy to use, Perfect coffee everytime, Designed beautifully, Cust service top notch
Cons: 1st brewer defective

Still love my Keurig!

I purchased my Keurig Nov. 09, this was the special edition that they dont make anymore. Problems started happening Jan 10. Half cups, no cups. overflow, etc.. Called cust service and was told to descale. Did that, worked fine for a month, same problems happening. Did descale on my own, still same thing. It made the sound that it wanted to brew, but no water. Called again, this time, was told to clean out the needles with a paper clip. A paper clip??? I did it and it cleaned it out a bit. 2 weeks later,same problem. This time I called Keurig and told them I was NOT going to clean my coffee pot with a paper clip everytime I needed to use it. That was on a Tuesday and today (Friday) I received my new brewer/ The platinum edition (since they discontinued mine. I have to say, customer service was great [...] I love this company. I am just praying that this machine holds up.
Pros: Ease, Great taste, Temp, Convenience
Cons: Half cup, we will see

Excellent Brewer Us it Daily, 2 years+

I have been a Keurig customer for years and this is an outstanding brewer. I have had it for over 2 years in daily use with the exception of about 14 days out of the year for vacation. Easy to clean and maintain. OUTSTANDING product as was my previous Keurig which my mother-in-law is now using daily.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Durable, Accomodates all cup Sizes
Cons: none
