20 months and it's over

After 20 months, it just quit working. I called customer service and tried everything, but nothing worked. They said it could not be fixed but offered a discounted price for a new one. Why would you pay this much money for something that is only good for less than 2 years? I am so disappointed - I loved the quick cup of coffee and the 5 size selection. Now, after reading the reviews, I see that this is an ongoing problem that apparently cannot, or is not, being fixed.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish
Cons: Only Good For 20 Months, Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Highly frustrated with Keurig

On our third Platinum brewer. They have tended to last between a year and year and a half. Our third brewer is on it's last legs. It is no longer dependable; sometimes you can get a cup after repeated attempts, and other times it just won't work! Have followed all manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning and descaling. It is a nice convenient machine, but seems to be made from cheap, throw-away parts that don't last. Frustrated with all the issues associated with it and will look to buy some other machine. The minimal discounts to buy a new machine just aren't worth it!
Pros: Easy to use, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Customer Service

Our machine quit working after 16 months of heavy daily usage. Called customer service, answered a few questions, 2 days later received a brand new unit, cannot ask for better support than that. Bought our first brewer around 4 years ago, took it to our vacation home as it was noisy, but still worked well. Purchased the Platinum as an upgrade and was satisfied. De-scaled it a couple of times and then it just stopped pumping water. In this day and age I was amazed that the sent me a replacement for no cost after a over a year. I am not used to that type of service to be honest. Most companies just don't care.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Noisy

i really wanted to like this

I bought this exactly one year and two months ago. It was fine but the last month started getting a bit glitchy. I faithfully cleaned this thing every 3 months even before the clean light came on. I only ever put filtered water into it. the last month or so, sometimes nothing came out, i would have to turn it on and off, sometimes it would not make a full cup, sometimes it would keep running after the coffee dripped and i would have to shut it off to stop it. then the prime light would come on. I cleaned out the inside like the video said to more than once. I am done with this thing. it is just not worth the price. I had to bring out my old drip maker yesterday. I was going to buy a new machine but decided that it is not worth trying again. I like the coffee, but not the machine. good luck and good bye.

Prime error

I found , after many years of drinking coffee, that this has been by far the greatest tasting coffee yet. However, this is my 4th replacement machine in as many months. The machine keeps giving me a "prime" error. This is on brand new machines. Frustrating? very. I guess I have to sacrafice poor workmanship for a good cup of coffee.

No more coffee pots or wasted coffee at home for me! This is a wonderful product and wish I hadn't waited so long to order one! I've had this particular model for two years and I love it. We use it for coffee, tea, hot chocolate and plain hot water. I really like the blue light in the water reservoir which serves as a great night light in the kitchen. I keep a little personal Keurig in my bathroom for single cups, mainly on the weekends, and use the larger one for mugs or travel cups. I'm still waiting for the soup K-cups! ;)

Alittle Pricey - but worth it!!

We always enjoyed a great cup of coffee in restaurants but couldn't get the same flavor at home until we bought the Keurig Platinum!! My husband and I use it off and on all day. It's so simple to use!! We are using bottled water in it because we have well water. The only thing - I wish would be a larger variety of decaf selections.
