I finally got enough points (coffee Club) to get this brewer at $70.00 off. Keurig was out of stock for months. (probably trying to fix problems) It is now back in stock and the reviews are still not good. Now I don't know if I want to spring for it or just keep using the Elite which I love (except the Noise)
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice Beverage Con

Verified Purchase:No
I bought the Elite a year ago and loved it, so I updated for the Platinum to have the Iced Beverage option. However, to make an ice coffee, you put ice in a glass and then press the 'ice beverage' button and a small 3.25 oz shot of hot coffee melts the ice. That's not a setting, Keurig, that's a recipe. I am happy that there is a Travel Mug size, but that was not worth the extra money.
Pros: Durable, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes

It is great that I can have one cup of coffee without the hassel of all the clean up of a 12 cup style brewer. I can easily make my son a cup of hot chocolate quickly. It is great for the ease of some of the morning grind without all the pain of clean up.
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: No brew strength

One of my favorite purchases ever

Our Ultimate gets used multiple times everyday and it never fails to make top notch coffee. I don't even have the urge to go to a coffee shop anymore. So it has saved me a lot of cash $4 at a time. ProTip - Clean your machine people! Every once in awhile run the largest setting with no K-Cup just to flush it out. And then do the same while removing the K-Cup holder inside. Wipe it all down and your machine will run perfectly. About 2 weeks after I bought the machine it sounded like the pump had quit. I did the above and it was back to perfect again. What happens is, some coffee grounds will clog it up. Easy fix really. Just once a week or so run plain water through and wipe it down inside the K-Cup holder. Once again. Awesome product that I have happily recommended to friends.
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Durable, Multiple Settings

Read the reviews about this brewer and had some reservations about getting this model, but we did purchase it as a replacement for the Special Edition model and we love it and it works great, we use it everyday and have had no issues with it. This is our 3rd Keurig brewer, the first one is still going strong as it is now used at work.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use

Convenient, okay coffee, hard to clean

The Keurig system does not produce the same quality coffee as using a quality (hot) drip machine with your own quality beans and grind. However, it is acceptable, once you find the type of cups and the appropriate water selection to bring out the flavor. It would probably fit best in homes with only one coffee drinker, or in the homes of people who cannot come to an agreement on what flavor to brew. Mine has reliably made coffee every morning, and the fast convenience is undeniable. Some, but not all commuter mugs fit. Six months into it, I find the machine hard to clean, and I might buy a different model if I find one that features easy cleaning. If you brew hot chocolate, be prepared to use tools and/or chemicals to clean out the sticky goo left behind (mine accumulated over a cold winter).
Pros: Multiple Settings, Durable, Easy to use
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes, HARD TO CLEAN

Not Reliable

This machine was great when it worked. It would often need to be unplugged and then plugged back in so it would brew. It had a mind of it's own and eventually broke a few months after the warrenty was up. I would not recommend it!
