Don't buy this model

My first brewer that is the limited edited, last 6 years. Bought this model and started being unreliable after 6 months. I work 3 shift as a nuse in a hospital in the ER, so i need my coffee! Sometimes it wouldn't brew. So you had try brewing it a couple of times. Called customer service and they where no help. I order all my kcups from them all the time. You would think they would help me out. Especially if I'm spending [$] on a coffee maker. Very disappointed!
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Makes Good Coffee
Cons: Worked good for 6 months, Limited Cup Sizes, Unreliable, Doesn't brew everytime, Complicated, Customer service no help, Fragile, Doesn't fit travel mugs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wish I had one everywhere I go!

Love the coffee so much I have sent one to my inlaws and recommend to everyone I meet. Plenty of K-cups that meet my tastes and specialties for about any taste you could have. Love the Extra Bold cups for my larger mugs and travel cups. Now just need to buy another for the camper and I am set. Purchase the Charcoal filter set and never worry about your city water flavoring your coffee.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use

Afraid to love it more than I do!

Oh, how I adore this machine so far. I've only had it for about 3 weeks now, but it's a HUGE hit in my house. Reading reviews however, I'm so afraid of what seems to be the inevitable breakdown! I drink a few cups of tea everyday, and love being able to brew a fast one in the morning for my commute to work! My husband has stopped his morning trek to McD's for coffee, and grabs a cup at home now. My son loves the hot chocolate... Oh Please my dear Keurig, don't fail me like you have failed others!

It's got potential

This is the first time I have written any manufacturer reviews for any product as the only reason I would do so is to help the mfg improve, and in most products/companies, I don't feel I have a stake in their product, or their progress, or lack thereof, so in limited time available, why bother. But this product seems to have legs, and the brief experience w/ customer service shows potential for improvement. I purchased from retailer in November for coffee drinking spouse. He was enthralled with the neighbor's unit and ability to produce one cup of good coffee vs. spoiling an entire carafe. (note: I believe possibly because of the "chrome" trim. If only it had 4 tiny tires to move around on the counter, possibly w/an audio dual exhaust/reverb feature while brewing, you could sell these like hotcakes.) Excellent value for Platinum included the conversion filter for non-Kcup use and 60? (or at least 48 pack) Kcups various variety Ridiculously easy to get it ready to use out of the box. Nice lines and fits on the counter in our relatively small kitchen where counterspace is at a premium. As non-coffee drinker, I enjoy the ease of use when we have drop-in company. Ready in a snap. I am told produces very consistent tasting and aromatic coffee. (Newman extra bold seems to be favorite in our group) Light use about 3-4 cups /day between Nov and about New Year. We have twice filtered water at the inlet from city and the reefer filter itself to minimize mineral elements. Then it started dribbling instead of streaming coffee. Cleaned twice according to mfg direction including vinegar treatments. After about 30 mins on phone with very willing K. customer rep, achieved brief measure of repair w/ paperclip idea. K. customer rep offered, and did send, a courtesy K.pack for the trouble, which was a nice gesture. However after a day or two (less than 8 cups), it stopped performing when asked to brew coffee, though it would run plain water a little better. Finally it just stopped doing anything. Returned it to store and got another. Though I did not inquire about returning to K. mfg, store not far away. Liked the overall quality of manufacture and the coffee product itself well enough to try again. Hence the lower grade of 4.0. However, as note to K. mfg., for the price of unit and K.coffee per cup, a 30 minute cell call, to almost remedy, using a paperclip, should not be required!!! Hoping for good things from this second-try unit and for K.mfg as you have a good idea going here and at least the initial contact with customer service shows you are willing to try to improve. Press on.

We use our brewer everyday several times a day! We love ours so much that we have our friends addicted also. Everyone loves the variety of k-cups. including the new addition of the Hot Apple Cider!

LOVE MY KEURIG. When it wan't working(kept shutting off) I panicked! Customer service is amazing and worked me through it. Love, love love it. Have a problem with coffee out at diners when traveling as have now gotten use to the "good stuff"

Fabulous Customer Service!

Love this brewer....the only problem is that it seems to go kaput after a year. This is my third brewer. Makes fabulous coffee...easy...looks great. Keurig needs to figure out how to make this unit last longer! Customer Service is great! A real plus!! They replaced my non-working unit even though it was out of warranty. Free of charge too! My unit kept saying "de-scale" and wouldn't make coffee. They walked me through all the steps that I had done on my own and it still wouldn't work.As long as Keurig has fabulous Customer Service, I'll continue to purchase the brewers as they make the best coffee around! They just need to figure out how to make more durable.

Same Problem Twice

The more I have used it the slower it gets. My children say now we could brew a whole pot in the length of time it takes to make one cup. Very unhappy with this but liked the concept of doing it.
