I purchased my Keurig in 11/09. It is now 7/10 and it wasn't acting right. It would turn off by itself, and the menu button would keep blinking. I had to turn it off and on again. It would work for a cup or 2 then I would have to turn it off again. After a few days of this, I called customer service. Although I never remove the water reservior (I use bottled water), she said I needed to take it out, and reset it. WOW... That fixed it!! She said the computer on it is very sensitive and will shut off, or not work if the reservior is not seated correctly. Although I hadn't moved it, I did probably bump it while cleaning the counter. The best part of my call was that I was actually speaking to an American in the USA (GA)!!!

I've had the B70 for +2 years now and never had any problems, i only had to descale twice. I think people having problems with the machine are using tap water instead of filtered water like mentioned in the owners manual. I love this coffee maker.

Great tasting Coffee, Brewer undecided

The Keurig brewers make the best coffee anywhere, period. This model seems to have a problem pumping the water for it to brew. Went through many machines and am now on my third, I hope this one lasts. Keurig has ALWAYS stood behind their product and replaced as needed, quickly and at no cost. Please fins out what makes these machines not pump water correctly.

I received my Keurig as a birthday gift from my sister, July 29, 2010. I LOVE "My" coffee maker! I feel like I'm going to the Local Coffee Shop in my own home. Every cup I have had so far is a pleasure. I don"t know if it's the coffee or the PURE excitement of having my own Keurig Platinum Coffee Maker. Now, I'm know to have a cup of coffee in my hand often so, I am a walking advertisement for Keurig!!! Thank you Mary for Blessing me with this amazing household appliance. Great coffee bad machine

Macine worked great for 7 months then the cup selection went haywire. It either made too small of a cup or overfilled the cup. Wasted too much coffee trying to remake the cup of coffee. Too expensive of a machine to have to replace every 6-7 months.
Pros: Multiple Settings
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Enjoying its features immensely

I just cannot seem to get enough of the ease of brewing the coffee; especially when I had almost stopped drinking coffee and switched to tea about a year ago; but this (B-70) reeled me back in. It was a birthday gift in the middle of May 2010 and I reluctantly used it. Then once I began using it, it was as if I was possessed, I cannot get enough of it. There were problems with it in the beginning when it was about a month old, which in part was a lack of knowledge and lack of information regarding running hot water cycles after each cocoa K-cup; so the brewer failed and I was sent a replacement. I did a de-scale before using the replacement and every 10 - 14 days I run 3 straight water cycles to help maintain it and so far it has been running nicely. I look forward to its continued stellar performance for a long time to come. Now, to choose and decide which coffee I like the best . . .
