Done with Keurig

We just threw away our third brewer. This one just stopped working after following ALL suggested maintenance protocols FOUR months after expiration of warranty. All they would offer me is a discount on future purchase. Due to cost of brewer and cups, we have decided to purchase another single cup coffee maker that is NOT Keurig.
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I loved the machine until it stopped. I had read the negative reviews online about that problem, but elected to play the percentages. Bad decision. On the other hand, Costco replaced it and told me it would replace it again if there were any problems with the new one. The woman in front of me in line had the Keurig in her cart. I warned her about my problem. She told me hers had lasted 2 years before it croaked. The original was an S-80; replacement was K-75. The only differences I've seen are an additional, larger cup option and a temperature option, but the most is 192, which seems to be the same as the previous one.
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Fast
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Choice

I wish I had read other reviews before buying this item. It was nothing but problems. If you did not use it two days in a row it would not work. Then you have to unplug it, plug it back in and go thru a series of cycles before it would make hot water. Im going back to a drip coffee maker. This product should be discontinued.
Pros: Stylish
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheaply made, not worth your money

Had one and it broke within the year warranty 1 year warranty). Same complaint you see all over online...made noise but no coffee comes out. Keurig DID send a new one. New one broke 2 months after the warranty. Keurig will not replace. They don't stand by their products. A coffee machine should last much longer than a year and when 2 have the same problem, and so many online complaints regarding the problem, there's a problem with the product in general. My bf had the same exact problem with his Special Edition one. Save your money and get something more reliable.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Warranty, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought 2, Both Leaked within 3 Years

Bought 2 units that get daily use. Within 3 years, both units began to leak water internally. Also, fill level / amount is inconsistent and sometimes will fill a cup half full, while at other times will overflow the rim.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Inconsistent Fill Amount, Leaks Water

Machine died 2nd time, warranty over

I used the Keurig 2-3 times/week. It worked great at first, and then started getting slower and slower (I cleaned it according to directions) but then finally just stopped working. It was under warrancy so I had it replaced, about 18 months ago, and yesterday that machine just stopped working too - it won't turn on. I tried it in other outlets, but ended up digging out my old reliable Mr. Coffee which worked in the same outlet that the Keurig was originally plugged into. My mom's died as well about 6 months ago. Switching back to Mr. Coffee.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile, Slow, Unreliable, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Didn't last very long, less than 2 years

We decided to try a Keurig for it's flexability for brewing both coffee and tea. After 18 months of daily use, it starting brewing partial cups of coffee. I followed all of the cleaning and descaling instructions on the Keurig website. After running a paper clip into the needle holes that pierce the top of the K-Cup, the unit would only flash "Not Ready". After a few minutes, the top of the unit over heated to the point of being too hot to touch. I expected a longer life from a coffee maker well into the 3 figure price range. The one year warrenty is not long enough, and I was only 6 months past that. I was offered a new replacement unit for less than half the price of a new one. I feel Keurig should have just replaced our defective one for free.
