I drink one or two cups per day, so this is perfect for me! I love all the different flavors I can brew!

Very stylish and easy to use brewer. Perfect for people like me who don't like to lounge about in the morning and want a quick no hassle cup of coffee to start the day. Great variety of brew sizes as well as an iced beverage setting (have not tried this yet, but look forward to some of the iced tea varieties being in stock!) Set up was a breeze and the program options are great which negates the location of the power switch as you can set the time to power up and down for when you need it most. Large water reservoir is great so you don't have to refill as often. All in all great brewer if you want a well built machine that can produce some great coffee without all the fuss of dealing with filters, grinders, daily filling and all the clean up that goes with it!

Love my Keurig, however it was not even 2 weeks after purchase when it died on me. I did call cutomer service and they were great but I opted to just return to the store where i had purchased as I could not go without for 1 day. They updated my warranty and so far the new one is working great, fingers crossed.

The Perfect Gift

my sister and i bought this for our parents for Christmas, our parents had an outdated 1990's coffee maker. They were so suprised when they opened it. At first they were hesitant because my dad has one at his office, and he said it was a space consumer, the thing with his was that it had a trash can in the back of it to dispose the K-Cups. My dad set it up a few days later, and my dad tried it,he liked it. It was soooo easy to set it up, i even helped him. A few days later we showed my mom how to work it, she said it was easy after she learned what butons to push( she's not that good with modern appliances sometimes). My sister and I also bought the K-Cup filters( not the water ones), because my parents like different types of coffee, they say its really easy. My parents drink coffee every morning on their way to work, with the coffee filters, they can fill them up the night before and have them ready to go the next morning. My parents hve tried a few flavors of coffee, and really like them. Sometimes my parents have a coffee mug thats to big to fit on top of the drain, so we have to remove it sometimes. The best thing is that its modern design fits in with pretty much all kitchens. All in all this is a great buy, and a good use of money.

I would by this machine again

I have had my machine since December of 2008 and I use it several times a day, everyday. I have it set to go on at 5:30 am and then shut off in three hours. My daughter has had hers since January 2009 and she left hers on 24/7 and uses it every day. Hers has now stopped working and Keurig is sending her a replacement. She made a lot of hot cocoa in hers and may not have run a clear cup of water through hers after brewing cocoa like recommended. I also clean mine regularly with vinegar as recommended. I hope that her next one is just as reliable as the first one. I do suggest that you not leave it on 24/7. Why would you want to continue to heat the water all day long when it only takes a minute to heat up if you want a quick cup? I hope this helps for those who have read the negative reviews.

love my coffee brewer

I bought my Platinum brewer in November 2009 and have had no problems. It is rather scary to read about all the others who have had problems. I use filtered water and make 2 to 3 cups a day. The only time I have removed the water reservoir was to replace the filter and washed the reservoir at that time. Other than that I don't touch anything else other than the menu settings. It is not complicated and I suspect some of the reviewers screw around with it too much... Maybe........

Fantastic Machine for the whole family

I am an avid tea drinker. In fact I buy Tazo (Starbucks) iced tea just so I will have the same flavor as going to the store. I received this machine for Christmas and we took it with us to our vacation home and it was an instant hit with the kids and myself. My son (17) likes coffee so he's got that and my tea and my daughter (13) likes the tea and cocoa. I too had the problem with the pump and was amazed when they just immediately sent me a new one right away. Now all of my relatives have one and we all trade stories on our machines. Think we're hooked!!!
