Makes great coffee&Tea

I got this machine after trying my mothers mini, i love it. Makes a awesome cup of tea&coffee. My only gripe is the size settings...i don't know who decided what the cup amounts should be but i think they are way off, the largest setting, which is supposed to be travel mug size only fills my travel mug about 3/4 full...infact that size will fill my standard coffee cup. maybe i just have big cups. But other than that i love this machine.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings

The New Models are Quiet!!!

I bought a B70 Platinum brewer a year or two ago. When I tried to prime it, it didn't work. After a phone call to Keurig, they sent me a new one and I sent back the old one. They didn't wait for the old one to get back to them and shipped me a new one immediately. Great customer service! When I was deployed to Afghanistan, my coworker bought a new one for the office. It has an extra-small setting (for iced coffee) and is nearly silent! After emailing Keurig, I found that they are slowly replacing the noisier pumps in the brewers with new Quiet Brew pumps. As of Feb 2010, the B70 Platinum and one other model (I forget which) have the silent pump. As soon as the Breville gets Quiet Brew, I'm getting it! PS... My old B70 has performed flawlessly, making at least one cup daily for well over a year, maybe two years. The only annoyance is having to fill the tank every few days. I may look into having a permanent water line run for one of the workplace models. But the B70 Platinum has never let me down.

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Bad Pump[...]!

We recieved the Platinum Brewer for Christmas and quickly grew to love the machine. However, like many who have written here, we began to have pump troubles after two months (made one cup, pump couldn't refill machine, machine powers off). [...] I'll admit that having a very expensive coffee maker malfunction is a pain in the butt, but I am going to keep using and telling others about the product. [...]

The Best Coffee Maker Ever

I received this as a surprise gift from my sister and her fiancee. I had always wanted one but never purchased one. The minute I saw it I was in love! I had received the Cinnamon color and it is just beautiful. For the past two weeks it has been in constant use, I have it programmed to be on and waiting for me in the morning and then turning off in the afternoon. The kids have loved making hot chocolate and coffee is never wasted as you have your own perfectly brewed cup whenever you would like it. The temperature is perfect as you can adjust it as needed and the 192 is perfect for me-and it is hot! However, this morning, when I went to use it the machine just kept shutting off...I tried everything to bring it back to life...I unplugged it for different time intervals, I tried checking the settings to make sure those didn't get mixed up and I couldn't even get into the menu. The machine just was done. I called Keurig as soon as they opened and Shannon was very kind and apologetic, she is sending me a brand new machine at no cost and without having to return the broken one-thank you!...the very disappointing part is that the Cinnamon color is no longer available and that is very disappointing!!! Despite the issues, I believe that they are or have fixed the issues myself and others are having..the product, while it was working is by far the best coffee maker I have had and am a customer for life...I will be waiting by the door for my new working machine!

Couldn't get any better... If it worked

We bought our elite almost a year ago and we loved it. It has worked perfect since day one. We recently decided to upgrade to the platinum because of the multiple cup sizes, larger water tank, and looks, but have had some problems with it involving the pump. When it works it works great, and even though there is problems with the pump we still love it. Customer service has been great and very helpful. They are sending us our third platinum brewer, and we are hoping this one works.

Cons: Pump malfunction

The Keurig B70 Platinum is easy to use. We do 6 to 10 cups of coffee & tea daily and are very pleased. 60 seconds after wanting a cup, the cup of coffee or tea is ready ! No other brewer/maker comes close in convenience and cleanup is only the cup you drink out of; no carafes or filters or kettles. It is awesome and the coffee & tea selections are impressive. Definitely would buy again and always reccommend.

Great Machine

Bought this machine in the fall 2009.... It was great, however, I never shut it off and found after a couple of months that the first cup in the morning did not fill. I learned my lesson, I shut the machine off before going to bed. It has not misbehaved since then. Works like a charm and have experimented with many flavours of coffee, tea & hot chocolate! My dinner guests love it!! and so do I!!
