We love our platinum keurig. although it has acted up a couple of times, nothing major...Yet. It has saved us tons of money by not going to expensive coffee houses everyday & the coffee is better tasting. We love all the different coffee's & flavors to choose from, especially when entertaining. Each guest can have a different type & flavor of coffee which make us stars w/ our friends. No guess work in the brewing. You don't have to brew a whole pot of coffee for 1 cup & deal w/ a fragile glass pot. I would give it a perfect score if it hadn't acted up a couple of times.

The Platinum brewer is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Good concept, but high failure rate

First brewer lasted about 80 days before beginning to shut down after every cup. Brewer fails to draw water into the heating chamber and shuts down to avoid complete failure. After several calls to Kuerig, received a replacement, but it has the same problem. Currently waiting for Kuerig to call me back. See other reviews at [@] Make sure you read the recent reviews. Many people are experiencing this issue. I loved this brewer when it was new and working properly. It disappoints me to have these issues and get spotty support from Kuerig. Hopefully they will continue to stand behind the product, but frequent replacement is not the right answer. Acknowledge and fix the problem Kuerig.

Great product when pump works

Love this coffee maker when it's working properly. I am another person experiencing issues with the poor pump design. After brewing a cup, the internal reservoir tries to refill and cannot complete the process and the machine shuts itself off. I called customer service today, waited on hold for 20 min, had to give all contact information that should be available since I provided it online for my warranty, and then never got to speak with a technician. I was told they had "high call volume" and should expect a call back within 24 hours. After a bit of web hunting, I have found MANY people with the same problem and it is solved by getting a replacement machine from Keurig or the retailer of the original purchase. Clearly, the product is faulty and Keurig must own up to it. I love your product--it really is the perfect way for me to enjoy coffee! Just admit and fix the problem!

What a Christmas Gift

My in-laws gave this to us for christmas and what more can I say, I love this machine. I use it about 10 times during the day, love making Ice Tea with it.

My brewer keeps shutting itself down!!

I love the Keurig brewers but have been having issues with my new one. I owned one for two years without any problems. I decided to replace it with a new one (same model)for Christmas. The new one worked but started shutting itself off. I called Keurig and they replaced it. The second one also began shutting itself off. This one actually was worse than the one it replaced. I just received another replacement machine today and so far so good. I love the quality of my old Keurig brewer and the coffee is yummy. I want to keep using the product but the constant shutting down is really frustrating. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this replacement will not have the same problems. I would still recommend the brewer to others --- if the shutting itself down issue were to be corrected.
