Do not waste your money

The brewer is badly engineered. The water line to the reservoir is too small, often causing an air bubble to lodge in the line. The brewer frequently makes a "short" cup of coffee when a larger size is selected. I've had many, many problems with this brewer in the past few months, and I would strongly recommend that someone purchase a different model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you don't mind dealing with customer service every few days doing the same trouble shooting that gets you no where, then this is for you. If you don't mind returning to the store [...] then this is for you. If you don't mind Keurig telling you they never heard of your problem even know it's all over the internet then this is for you. If you do buy, buy from [...] because they will take every one back do problem.
Pros: Lots of replacements
Cons: Bad pumps, Keurig tech on speed dial, Lasts only a few weeks

Great...when it works!

I use my Keurig on a daily basis, and have had one since January 2010. At first I was thrilled with the quality of coffee and with how fast it worked. Then, despite descaling, it started to fail. First, it would not brew the coffee...even though it sounded like it wanted to. Then, it would only give a couple of ounces of coffee. Finally, the machine would just shut off instead of brew at all. Of course, this was about 6 weeks after my 1 year warranty was over. This is when I contacted customer. Fortunately, they exceeded my expectations by sending me a new (updated) machine at no cost to me. I just had to send the K-cup holder back within a month. Additionally, I was only on the phone with customer service for 12 minutes total. Though I was disappointed with the machine's reliability, I was more impressed by the customer service. I will continue to stick with Keurig for now. I would recommend it to a friend, but with caution.
Pros: Easy to use, MAKES GREAT COFFEE, Great Customer Service, Allows variety
Cons: Not consistent, Not built to last

Great Customer Service!

I bought my Platinum Series brewer a year and a half ago and haven't had any problems with it. I love, love, love getting a fresh cup of coffee each and every time. My brewer stopped working on me and I talked to customer service who was so very helpful. I was able to get my brewer back up and running in no time. The customer service from the get go was outstanding!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Fragile
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my first Keurig a year and a half ago and just loved it. But stopped filling my cup with coffee. I called customer service and they sent me another one. I love this coffee pot and hope this one works longer. I was very pleased with the quick respond my sending me a new one.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes

Great Coffee as long as it works

We loved our Platinum Keurig coffee maker right from the start. Great tasting coffee and I really like the ability of use our own grind. HOWEVER, we've only had it for one month and today it stopped working. I see that I am not alone in this complaint after reading many of the reviews posted here. [...] I suppose I will continue using one as long as Keurig is willing to give me a new one each month or so. Though I don't know how long they can stay in business if over 50% of their machines die in the first couple of month of use.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Fragile

Short cups...

We love the concept and variety that this type of coffee maker employs, but the quality of this machine is not up to par. Within two weeks, the machine was not working as it should. On the max setting, we are getting maybe 8oz of coffee out of the maker. I've tried a variety of different solutions to correct the problem, but basically, this machine is poorly made and we will be returning it. Hopefully we can find a machine that works as it should, and with better quality. I would recommend the K-cup concept, but not this particular machine.
Pros: Easy to use

Happy with Keurig

Have had this coffee maker for a little over a year. To date the only issue we have ever had is an occasional short cupping. We use only filtered water, have never had to descale, only run the cleaner through a couple of times. Would definitely purchase again if necessary, have even been looking at the mini brewers for use in our RV. Love the fact that due to being able to make our own iced coffee as well we have been able to kick [...] to the curb.
