I love my Platinum,it is so easy to use.Had one problem Prime kept showing! Customer service was very helpful,after trying to fix it they sent us a new one.You get to keep your old one till the new one arrives (about one week)You just send back the cup holder.How easy!!
Pros: Durable, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Stylish

Love mine but does have problems

I really enjoy owning this machine. I am however on my fourth brewer. Similar to other comments on this page, it's a hassle to call Keurig when it stops working but the customer service folks always resolve the issue in the end. For me specifically, I'm on my fourth brewer since 2009…it's bitter sweet. If my current one dies again, maybe I'll try a different model. I've stuck with the same Platinum version since the beginning…bottom line, buy it, but know that you may too have to replace often. It's a trade off. I guess I'd rather deal with this on occasion vs. grinding beans and brewing an entire pot of coffee everyday.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

I purchased my first platinum brewer on boxing day, 2010. I absolutely loved how easy it was to use and how convenient it is to only make one cup at a time. I read a plethora of reviews online that told me to avoid this particular model since it has been known to break down, but it was on sale at Future Shop so I went for it. It worked fine until April 2011 (it was only three months old) when it stopped releasing water and made a horrible grinding noise. I regularly cleaned it, used filtered water, and it still broke. I called customer service and they had me clean it on the phone and ended up sending me a new one for free. Here's hoping brewer #2 doesn't die.

Cons: Stopped working

Worth Every Penny!!!

My Husband and I use this machine everyday. Our daughter uses it occasionally for hot apple cider or hot cocoa. After we figured out the cup sizes with regards to our cups/mugs we were ready to go. We don't always leave for work at the same time and this brewer has been fantastic. No one gets the old coffee from the pot anymore. We have the filter and adapter to use our own coffee and we use the k-cups. The temp is adjustable so it's always just right for us. The variety of k-cups is the best! We used filtered water and have not had any problems with scale or deposits.

PUMP DIED after 2 years!!!

this product fell well short of my expectations, When I purchased this coffee maker I thought I would have it for quite some time...WRONG !!! After calling customer service and going through a troubleshoot I was told that the pump is probably done and it is not replaceable and since the warranty is only for 1 year the best they can do is give me $40 off the purchase of a new one ([$]). Why would I buy a new one I only owned this one just shy of 3years and it died. Not to mention it was only used moderately at the most and mostly for tea i've had a br**n coffee maker which is probably over 20y/o that was given to me by mother that i guess I'll be going back to Thanks Keurig !!!! I am getting my second replacement brewer from Keurig. I am grateful for a company who stands behind their products. I first owned the B60 which I took to my daughters house so I could have a good cup coffee during our visits. This brewer is still running strong after 3+ years. Then purchased this model. On both brewers there has been a pump failure. So my third brewer is in route. Hopefully the problem has been resolved. Again I am glad to be a Keurig customer and will continue to do business with this company. We have this brewer in my office at work which they purchased on my recommendation. So no I am a little hesitate to recommend this model.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Fragile

Hardly worth the hassle

I have used the Keurig system since Christmas 2008 and my third brewer just bit the dust. None of my brewers has lasted longer than 11 months. Fortunately the customer service people are very understanding and work with you to attempt to resolve the problem. Waiting for a week or longer for a new machine to come from Keurig is a bummer.

Cons: HARD TO CLEAN

I have read some of the reviews. This is so simple to use and clean everyday I cannot understand why anyone would think this is difficult. I have had this unit over a year and still love it. No more fussing with a coffee pot then having to clean it yuk! This machine streamlines my morning routine.

Cons: Could brew a bit hotter
