Question about the Platinum performance

We used our Platinum edition daily for nearly a year trouble free. Then one day it seemed the electronics were messing up. It would partially brew and stop. We had to tell it to brew multiple times to get a cup. I read the manual and it spoke to de-scaling. I used the vinegar and started the process. This is when the de-scale electronic message appeared. It hasn't worked right since. I am continuing the de-scaling effort as the manual directs you to do. Anyone else have this problem?
Cons: De-scaling

I am now on my THIRD Keurig machine. Not because I love to waste money[...]And I bought the first one a year and a half ago. Three machines in a year and a half?!?! Keurig, I hope you read your own reviews. You need to fix this machine. I gave you one star since that is the lowest you can get. But if it would have allowed, you would have gotten ZERO STARS.

I am on # 4 of this coffee maker in 3 years! I don't know why a company so popular can make such a piece of junk. Yes you do get multiple cup sizes and you do not have to pick them; it does it on its own. My last one is 4 months old and will not work at all. When it works its awesome but thats not enough for me. At [$] a pop I might as well go to DD and buy a cup. So far with the cost of K-cups and brewers Kuerig is winning big time!
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Will not last

I have had 4 of these in as little as 5 years. My B-70 just had issues with it not making coffee like every 3 cups. Called Customer Service and as they did in the past 3 times, after going through some trouble shooting determined that the unit needs to be replaced. Sooooo I am ok with that! All I have to do is send in a little part. No big deal. I wish the machines worked longer and didnt break, but having it replaced is effortless.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: Fragile
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had no problems with the company replacing my machine. They have done so twice as it only seems to last one year at best. I use filtered water and have one cup in the morning, maybe one in the afternoon. That's it. I love the concept of K-cups, but would dearly love a more durable machine. Thank you.

Happy with the brewer for a couple of months and then it started with the short cups. I tried all the suggestions and it would be better for a day and then go back to short cups again

I received this brewer as a gift for Christmas '09. I have had issues with it for the past year. Item was descaled as recommended by Keurig. I have had to call Keurig's customer service about persistent issues several times, and they just took me through the same steps listed on the user guide. Brewer would shut off during warm up, had issues brewing half cup, would get clogged, etc. I do like the different varieties of coffee though, but pricey. I like to enjoy a cup of coffee every morning, and now, after just over a year and a half, brewer will just not turn on. Warranty is expired of course> My opinion, and others for what I read, is that Keurig has mastered the manufacture a product that last long enough to outlast the warranty. Congrats Keurig!

Cons: Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value

One Year Life Span

This is my second brewer. First one died after a year, so did the warranty. I just chalked it up to bad luck and ordered another one. This one lasted slightly longer, 1 yr. 3mos.. The pump started going and now its just a matter of time until it stops completely.
