Love my maker that does not last.

We enjoy our coffee every morning; However the maker after a year becomes quirky. Our first was replaced by the company. If I choose to stay on the phone for an hour they would replace the second. (Maybe). Love and hate. Don't buy one unless you want to be hooked for life.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use
Cons: One year life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fix the problem!!

I am on my 3rd unit. I love the convenience and taste and variety of k-cups but dang Keurig, you need to go back to the drawing board on this. After reading the other reviews , seems everyone experiences the same problem I have on the first 2 - it stops brewing after 6- 8 months. This is too short of life span for the price. This is my last attempt - if this one fails I'm done with Keurig until they can get their head out of the sand and find a solution. 3 pots is 2 too many in my book.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile, Keeps breaking down

Problems need to be fixed

This unit was a replacement unit from Keurig because the other one was a piece of junk and stopped working after 6 months. Been having issues with this current unit for a couple of months. Doesn't want to brew. I have to do a Fonzy (beat on it) to get it to do anything. And yes Keurig, I descaled it on a regular basis, following your guidelines. Didn't help. Wished I had checked the status of my warranty sooner. I'm 2 weeks past my 1 yr replacement warranty. I wish they would fix these issues. I really like the concept of brewing only as much coffee as you can drink. We pay a lot for these units, so you'd think they'd work better.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Noisy, Fragile, Poor Quality, Pricey / Poor Value

Such a short life span

I love the convenience and variety of the selection of K-cups, but it seems that the more bells and whistles the machine has the reliability seems to lessen. I had the very 1st Keurig and it never had issues as a matter of fact I still have it and it still works! I am on my 2nd Platinum within 2 yrs. It's great that the company replaces them, but you would think that they could make a more durable and dependable machine. The cost factor in replacing them has to be outrageous and if a better machine was made, it may be even cheaper, because it wouldn't have to be replaced as much.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I would love my Keurig if it would last for more than a year! I'm on my third - Keurig was great in replacing the previous two that broke - but it's the inconvenience at this point that's the problem. I've done everything by the book and even used bottled water (which has cost me a small fortune) but to no avail. I have in the past recommended this product to friends and even purchased them for family but I won't be doing that in the future...need to find a more reliable single cup brewer!
Pros: Fast, Easy to use

I have been a Keurig user for years. The first one I had sounded like a freight train, so when the quietbrew came out, I got the Platinum Series. I loved it. I used my Keurig points to buy at least 3 for gifts. I have purchased others at local stores for gifts. I am personally responsible for convincing several friends and relatives that they needed a Keurig. Now I'm afraid that they are not being made to last. The pump must have started to go on my second brewer, the Platinum, because after a couple of years it would not make a whole cup of coffee, then it quit altogether. I ordered a new one with my points in anticipation of the original Platinum quitting. We started using it about two weeks ago and today the water reservoir kept blinking and it would not make coffee. After turning it off and on a couple of times, we could get it to make one cup, but it would quit again. They are sending me another one, but right now I am using my old standby Kitchenaid. If there is an issue with these things they need to figure out what it is and make it right. Other companies are starting to make K cup brewers - now is NOT the time for Keurig to get sloppy.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Quality

Own two Platinum systems

My husband and I agree this unit makes the best coffee we've ever had. The coffee is hot and very tasteful. We ordered another K70 Platinum for our vacation home. We had to replace our first unit, but there was no hassle involved. The gentleman we spoke to was very courteous and polite.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes

Great coffee maker !

This coffee maker is excellent. The reviews about short cupping are true however, if you regularly descale your keurig every 3 to 4 months you will have no problems. I would highly recommend this coffee maker.
Pros: Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast, Multiple Settings
