Poor Quality

If it worked well I would buy several. I have one at home and one at one of my office locations but both are unreliable. My Platinum Keurig now brews about half the cup size that you ask for. I have tried several online remedies. If you go to youtube you will see many negative customers with all the tricks and tips they have learned to try to get the thing to work. Supposed to be a time saver, ended up being a waste of money. The cups are too expensive in the first place and you lose several per case due to defects in the brewing process.
Pros: Great idea, Fast
Cons: Not Reliable, HARD TO CLEAN, Short lifespan, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought my first Keurig for my office and loved it so I bought one for home. It failed after about a month of use. It would brew one cup then not be able to draw more water. I was sent another brewer, no hassle, which was nice. But then the SAME EXACT problem happened with the new brewer! I have been sent another brewer and to be honest, I do not have high expectations for it. I'm glad I didn't toss my regular Krups coffee maker. It may have to take it's place back on the counter. IF these brewers were reliable they would be awesome. The coffee is expensive though and I wish the water could be hotter.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Not hot enough, Unreliable, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Warranty replacement now TWICE

I bought my first Platinum machine at Dillards in November 2010. By April 2011, I had to have a warranty replacement. The replacement is LOUD and they did away with the iced drink setting (at a lower temp). And sometimes, it just doesn't work at ALL. Now it is July 2011 and my replacement needs to be replaced. Not sure what the problem is with this particular unit, but I have 9 friends who have the same one and ALL of them have had replacements in the first 6-9 months.I would NOT recommend this model. I would like the heavy use one for small office, but I never received a phone call when I requested pricing.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value, Noisy

i have several vacation homes and every one has a keurig in them. ive had zero problems with any of them. my kids love it and family and friends do as well. we love the diffrent kcups and they are quick and easy to use. i am so pleased with this machine! also great for the motorhome and prvt jet!
Pros: Fast, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Durable, Easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm on my third brewer within one year. All have been replaced by Keurig. Customer service isn't bad, I've dealt with much worse. The first started the short cup brewing issue and was returning the water to the tank. I had even kept up on cleaning it. My second brewer didn't make it one month before it started leaking. I had to remove the tank after every brew. It would leak the whole tank out by morning. I'm hoping this one is better, however reading other reviews I'm not holding my breath. When it works I love it. I know others who have the same one for over a year with no problems.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Workmanship, Quality

good product but unpredictable...

I've got two Platinums one of which I haven't had a problem with in 18 months or more, the one I bought recently stopped working a few months after received, first was unreliable stuff like brewed different amounts regardless of settings and then simply wouldn't brew at all, try cleaning etc without luck, suddenly it came alive again after some storage time but brews irregular amounts and it takes very long since the amount of water is so small now; I think its hexed or probably that the manufacturing source now (China) is not reliable; don't mind paying a bit more guys for a USA produced machine, make it so or risk loosing business fast! Hate to see you guys go down for quality reasons, we will see....I still would recommend this unit to others but with much hesitation.

Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Pricey / Poor Value, Noisy

It was convenient, but not durable!

very fragile. 2 out of 3 friends platinums have major complications.
