Great brewer but.....

I was excited to receive my brewer for Christmas of '10 and sad to see it quit working for Christmas of '11. Without any warning, the brewer spewed the remaining water out of its reservoir and never came back on. Luckely, Keurig customer service happily replaced it for me. Let's hope that this one lasts longer then the previous one did.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value

Poor Quality for the money

On my third brewer in 3 years, one replaced by customer service. Purchased 2 myself. There has got to be a way to make the brewer last longer.... [$] a pop is not a good value. I still have my standard coffee pot from 6 years ago and have to resort to it everytime this thing decides not to work and it only cost around $50.00 and up to getting the Keurig, brewed 2 pots a day.
Pros: Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Noisy, Fragile, Last about 10-12 months

This is my second maker in one year.. You would think by spending this kind of money it would be made a little better.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value

Room for improvement

This brewer makes great coffee and it is very easy to use, but it has some reliability issues. Keurig needs to work on the overall model of this machine. We are now on our 3rd brewer in a year; our first machine brewed short cups almost every day and our second now says "prime" everyday. We have taken very good care of our machines (e.g. using filtered water, de-scaling every 2-3 months, etc.), and the machines do not even last 1 year. Aside from the hardware problems, each time I call customer service they have been very friendly and helpful. If you want to get a single serve machine, I would recommend a different model and/or brand for the price you pay.
Pros: Easy to use, Fast, Stylish
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Noisy

Worthless after a year

Loved the product until we started having problems with it after 9 months. Totally worthless after a year despite "de-scaling", etc. Thank God for [@], took it back...Numerous friends have had the same problem.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Fast, Multiple Settings
Cons: Poor Quality, Fragile

On my 3rd Platinum Brewing System

I use the coffee system about 12 hours every day,7 days a week. and it works great for 12 months, then the system's internal parts start to fail, the coffee maker says it brewing and it is not, or it will brew on its own. problems always start after the one year warrenty is up.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Spews everywhere for me

It looks stylish, yes, but when I received this, and attempted to brew a K cup, it just spewed everywhere.

Got mine as a Christmas gift last year. Enjoyed it until the warranty was gone. Two weeks after it was gone the machine stopped coming on at all. Waited until last week to replace. This is the last try for me. I love the machine but for the price it needs to last longer than the warranty period.
Pros: Fast, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, HARD TO CLEAN, Fragile
