A perfect cup of coffee everytime!!!

Love this coffee maker!!! Between my husband and myself, this maker chugs out between 5 and 7 cups a day!!!! Have treated this like it was one of the family. Cleaned (descaled) on regular basis. Started having trouble about a month ago, called customer service, who is very nice and polite, and friendly. Took me through a process of cleaning with paper clip,etc. The maker continued to short cup and turn off, either during the brewing process or right after brewing a cup. Rep told me to descale it again. That weekend I descaled it 4 times with no success. Called back that Monday and they sent a new one, [...] The maker is worth the trouble that I had and as long as their customer service is so pleasant, I will be a customer for life. My warranty was still good for another 2 months. I just registered my new maker and hope it lasts forever!!!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings

Why do these machines keep Breaking?!

My mom has had 3 of these,they all broke, but she was assured the "problem",had been "fixed". I received one as a gift,from a friend of hers.Big DISAPPOINTMENT!! Well, sometimes it works,then shuts off,makes a "burring",sound. Half cups,I have descaled,use demineralised water,use paper clip you name it. Took 7 tries this morning AGAIN.Now after reading some of the reviews... I wish I had kept my old "Regular",coffee maker,at least it ALWAYS worked!
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this is the 2nd keurig i have owed. i love them, will never own another type. i got my last one for my birthday from my son as my other one was not performing. it was about 3 years old. i recommend them to everyone, in fact my sister wanted one after trying mine and asked her husband for one for xmas. he really gave me a bad time about how much it cost him, but now he uses it more than my sis, he said he can't stand to have coffee out anymore. when he and my sis were going to go to dinner he told her first he had to go home and have a good cup of coffee. i also got my son one for christmas, he told me he loves it alot. they don't last as long as maybe a mr. coffee, but for me it's because we use it so much more. i don't care when this one bites the dust, i'll get another one. love the fact that i can have my flavored coffee and everyone else can have there regular coffee. thats why i got one in the first place, was so i could make flavored coffee and i was going to use the mr. coffee for everyone else, well when they tasted mine they decited they wanted to use may keurig. buy one you won't be sorry.

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

BUY THIS SYSTEM...It's a must have!! your house gusted can have what ever flavor the want and they love to push the brew button!!

I purchased this coffee maker almost a year ago and it has stopped working. I just got off the phone with a specialist and Keurig will be sending me a new one. After receiving confirmation I noticed that they are sending me the wrong color and I called back. Representative said he has no way of changing the order. I don't get how complicated this can be for them. I also purchased my sisters machine at the same time and hers stopped working about six months later. I asked a friend about hers and she said she's on her second one and it's leaking. Somehow my cheap [...]coffee maker has lasted five years but not this expensive one.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish

Great Concept, Dismal Perfrom(Revisited)

Back in February I gave this just 2 stars, as I have gone through a unit every 18 months for the last 5 years. I added a star as I believe I have found the secret to longevity... Use bottled water, or even better use distilled water. The service folks won't actually tell you that this is required, but I have had my new brewer for 2 months now and not one water spot (using distilled water), even on the reservoir. I'll check back in later, but other than the cost of bottled water... it looks promising.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Waiting to see
