Great machine!Great company!

I don"t drink coffee but my wife loves it, so I bought one for her for christmas this year. She hates "gadgets" but right out the box she loved it. It is fast and she says hot every time and a really good taste. 4 months later the machine would sometimes, let's just say "not work well". Called customer service and told them the problem and in 5 minutes he said they would ship me another machine and discard the old machine and they would send 2 boxes of coffee. This day and age this is a NUMBER 1 COMPANY! No try this, try that, just make me happy with no yelling or anything. KEURIG CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings

i absolutely love this coffee maker. it is so convenient and easy to use that i find myself always wanting to make another cup.

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Convenience a plus

I always use purified or distilled water (I buy in gallon jugs), so I am hoping not to have the durability problem that I have been reading about here in the reviews. I can see where it could get plugged up easily if using tap or regular bottled water (which both have lots of minerals). Filters don't necessarily remove minerals - they just filter out fine "particles", not dissolved minerals. I am the only coffee drinker in the house, so this unit is perfect for saving on waste and the coffee tastes great. I have the "My K-cup" also, but I think I need to get a bolder coffee to use in it, as it seems a little weak otherwise. I also like that I can make just one glass of fresh iced tea. Not liking the hot chocolate too much - a bit watery. For that it would work better to just use the machine to quickly add hot water to a packet of hot chocolate mix.

Machine needs improvements

I have the third machine right now, which failed within 6 month like my other ones before. Contacted CS, they replace it at no cost to me, which is great. There is definitely a problem with the pump or computer chip. But I fell in love with the Keurig system and would not go back to any other system, no matter how often I have to replace the machine.
Pros: Durable, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Fails within 6 month

HORRIBLE Quality Product

when it works the coffee is great. a different flavor with every cup if you wish or a consistent, fresh cup of your favorite cup of coffee. the machine is not well made. i am on my 4th brewer since february of this year. they work great for a time and then just quit. called customer service a week and a half ago and talked to a representative. i had already troubleshoot the machine. she put me on hold for about 15 minutes and came back on and indicated that the next level of customer service was not going to be available for awhile. they will call you back. well, they have not called me back yet in over a week. i will call them tomorrow and see what the heck is going on...
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Fragile, Doesnt last, Customer service is bad

I love my Keurig Platinum, but I hate that I have to get a new one every few months when they give out. I mean, really, Keurig? You can't get your act together.

Hard to clean. I get inconsistent brews, sometimes no brew at all. Have to unplug to reset the machine. Brews too slow. Very disappointed in this machine[...]
