Very Disappointed! Trying again...

I was enjoying the Platinum Keurig until it began to prime constantly. The prime blinking light would come on after every cup of coffee that was brewed. I had to remove the reservoir every time I brewed a cup of coffee. Follow the booklet instructions, was not successful. I only had the Keurig for 8 months. I returned the Keurig and received a new one. Keeping my fingers crossed that this one will work. If I began to have problems I will not purchase another one or recommend one to relatives and friends. It is very pricey for the problem I had with it. (Mainly the pump.)
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value

I use my Keurig everyday, and, I too, have had to return my first one, just a few days past the warranty period. I was very pleased with Keurig's customer service, and happy enough to return the k-cup holder in order to receive the new brewer. I'm hoping this one lasts much longer, because, while the last one was broken down, I had to revert to my old coffee maker, and let me tell you, the difference in the cup of coffee was ... well... palatable. I never noticed the paper filter taste before I used the Keurig, but I could hardly get past the paper filter taste when I had to go back to using the old brewer. I don't want to have to replace it every year though, so maybe a different brand would be in order if Keurig doesn't figure out a way to make this thing more durable. Love the Coffee... Hate the inconvenience of the breakdowns.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Great cup of coffee, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Not durable, HARD TO CLEAN, Pricey / Poor Value

I got this model as a points reward for $xx and xxxx coffee club points. After several months of repeated and frequent de-scaling, enduring highly variable output quantities at variance with the cup size chosen (usually considerably less than the selected cup size or zero output followed by double output). I eventually scrapped this brewer to go back to using the Special Edition brewer I had previously been using. AVOID THIS MODEL like the PLAGUE.
Pros: Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, HARD TO CLEAN, Won't hold up, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received this for christmas this past year and was thrilled. And it worked great, up until a couple moths ago...It started sporadically giving us random cup sizes, then at some points wouldnt brew at all with out a gental bang on the top. I called once, they told me to descale and do the magic paperclip trick. (we use the filter you can buy from them, plus filtered water). I did this and with in a week it did it again. So I called back a few weeks later and they told me they would replace it. Great, but I am peeved that they are making me eat the cost of the wasted K-cups and shipping for mailing proof of ownership of busted machine. Other then that I love it, lol.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

very easy to use, no need for the timer because it is so fast to use. Love all the flavoured coffee selections, the water reservoir is very handy

I am disgusted with this unit. I bought mine in December 2010. I have done all the proper maintenance as suggested in the booklet. I have de-scaled every 3 months. Yet, by July 2011, the thing didn't work. Called customer service and they were very nice. They worked with me to do some basic cleaning and checking of things. Then, they decided that the K-cup holder was bad. They sent me a new one, free of charge. When it arrived, I put it in and, sure enough, the brewer worked. However, a little over a month later... same thing. Now they tell me they'll send me a new brewer (the same junky one, of course), but I'm required to send back the 'free' K-cup holder I received to 'fix' my old brewer. SERIOUSLY?? Not only will I be stuck with another lemon of a coffee pot, but, I also have to send back the part that they KNOW goes bad??? COME ON!! This is ridiculous. I'm sorry. DON'T waste your money on this brewer. Try a Mr. Coffee, Cuisinart, or one of the other Keurig models. This one definitely isn't worth the cost.

Miss my beans

I have had this unit for several months now. I just got up this morning and, once again, the unit was not on during the time it was set to come on. Sometimes it is. Sometimes (most) it isn't. I can't figure out how to make it come on consistently no matter what I do. Right at the beginning of my ownership I found that my large coffee cup would never be filled with great coffee again. Instead I worked my way down to the middle cup setting before my coffee tasted as though it wasn't watered down. Using the pricey insert that I fill with my own coffee doesn't help either. That was relegated to the cupboard after two messy tries. I now make more tea in my life and love it. Keurig should stop selling coffee and just sell tea. It is now my afternoon drink of choice. I think the single cup system is a great idea. I just think that they have a long way to go. I have not given away my bean grinder or my old coffee pot. If my Keurig unit ever breaks (or maybe not) then I will go back to my old time consuming but delicious methods until they work all the bugs out of this system.
Pros: Fast, Stylish
Cons: Complicated, Limited Cup Sizes

I've had this maker about 8 months, use only filtered water and taken very good care of it. It is already giving me problems with only occasionally brewing a cup. I expected much more from this company and an expensive brewer.
Pros: Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
