Unbelieveable ... same problem here

We purchased the platinum unit about 1 year ago ... It has worked beautifully until about 1 month ago and it has started to become very fickle and fail. I have to unplug the machine to "reset it" or it doesn't brew. It will sound as if it is going to brew, but no water is pulled through the system. I have to unplug it, disconnect the water chamber, then reset it and it then brews -- but produced more than just 1 cup of coffee. I have to have a large cup there for the overflow. For the purchase price of nearly $200, I can't believe I'm reading these other reviews. I plan to call Keurig and ask for a replacement. If not, I'm going back to Tassimo. Jimmy, Austin, Texas.

A real disappointment!

programming the cup size is messed-up. To get 9.+ size I have to hit brew 5 times. It will not stay on selected size!!!! Only used 2 1/2 months.
Pros: None
Cons: Program cup size

We had our brewer for about a year and a half, then it started acting up. Sometimes would pump water and sometimes it wouldn't stop pumping. I contacted CS and they told me it needed cleaning, which we have done. Then they said I should press the K-cup down onto the bottom needle before closing it to relieve the pressure that could blow coffee up into the inlet. This seemed to be working for about a month. Now same thing is happening again. Since it's out of warranty, I have redeemed some of my coffee club points to get another one. Hopefully this one is better, since I noticed in the description they have made improvements. We'll see!!

Cons: Doesn't last

I bought my Keurig Platinum as an christmas present to my self. But couldn't wait that long to use it, so IT"S an early x-mas gift. I have to say..I'm totally in love with it. I will never go back to an auto drip coffee maker again. I love the way it looks on my counter, love the verity of k-up and the fact that there's no waste. I have not so far had any trouble with it like I have read in some of the postings on this site. And I hope I never do..but if I do, I'll replace it in a heart beat! Besides..I have to, I threw out my old drip coffee maker the same day I tryed my Keurig for the first time!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
