Good concept but garbage.

My wife and I bought this model because we were wasting half a pot of coffee and we wanted different varieties of coffee. We liked the Platinum because of the cup sizes it can brew. The model worked great for about 3 months then started having a mind of its own. Sometimes it would brew, other times it would pump water from the resivoir and then just sit there and hum not brewing while stating it was. Turning off the unit or unplugging it may or may not solve the problem. Hitting the brew button multiple times would cause a flood of coffee when it did start working again. Today was the last straw with this coffee maker... it is garbage and that is where it went into. A waste of a lot of money for only lasting 5 mos. Now I have K-cups and accessories that are wasted as well.

Cons: Fails to work

Very sad. This system has multiple tech issues. I'm getting tired of hearing my husband pound on it to get it to work. When you attempt to brew a cup, it just...does....nothing. Have contacted the company to see if they will help out. Haven't heard back, yet, but I just sent in my contact, so I will wait. Got this as a gift and have been sorely disappointed with it's performance. Once it does brew, the coffee tastes fine. But, that is if you can get a cup out of it!
Pros: Stylish
Cons: Stops working, Pricey / Poor Value

My husband and I drink coffee occasionally but not enough to make a pot at a time. When we found this we were so excited! It allows us the freedom of making a cup whenever we want without the mess. The K cups that are used with this machine can be purchased just about anywhere. I even found them at [...]! There are a wide variety of cups and brands that you can choose from. My children (girl-10 and boy-8) use this product almost daily to make tea and hot chocolate. We have had this for about 3 months and I haven't really found anything that I don't like about it. This product was probably the best thing we've bought this year and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Durable, Multiple Settings

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Fresh gourmet coffee and tea whenever I want a cup. Easy to use and always the perfect cup of coffee or tea. You can pick your size cup and control the strength of your coffee. Pods are wonderful and many flavors to choose. Also you can get hot chocolate pods that are wonderful for grandkids and adults!

Good coffee if made in small quantity

I could not do without this coffee maker but I find that the pods are good only on the two lowest settings. I wish that pods were made for the two larger setting that would taste as good. Also, I'm a decaf drinker and I wish there were as great a variety for the decaf drinkers as for the regular coffee drinkers.

I just got my keurig a few days ago. I had been looking for a one cup coffe maker that I could use my 16oz travel mug with. When I saw that this one has 5 different sizes I just had to have it. Also I am really careful not to get my hands dirty so the use of k-cups and not having to clean out coffee grinds was another huge selling point. The set up was amazingly easy. Even though 16 oz isn't one of the settings you can easily fill the cup up by brewing on the 12oz setting then brew on the 4oz setting. I also use it to make oatmeal. I love the versatility of the machine.
