Stopped working after only 2 weeks!

I received this product for my birthday last month, brand new. After two weeks of usage the machine completely stopped working. It wouldn't pump water, it wouldn't brew, or anything. It just sat there with the display reading "NOT READY" even after waiting 25 minutes. One day my husband and I spent two hours trying to get this machine to work, just to brew one cup of coffee and nothing. It does make a great cup of coffee, IF it is actually working. And for the price the person paid for me to have this gift you would have thought I would have got more than two weeks of use out of it. I've contacted customer service and I'm going to be sent a new one, but I'm not even sure if I want another one after reading the rest of the reviews here.
Pros: Stylish
Cons: Complicated, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No warranty?

Bought the B70 in an online auction in April. Brand new brewer with warranty. After 3 months the brewer only spits out a few tablespoons of coffee. De-scaled and cleaned filter as suggested but didn't fix the problem. The Keurig rep said it sounds like the internal tank is full and clogged. When we called to get the brewer repaired or replaced we were told that the serial number says the brewer was made in 2008 and that they will not honor the warranty in spite of the fact that it was purchased new only 3 months ago. There is nothing on the warranty information that says that the actual date the brewer was manufactured is what decides the warranty but that is what we are being told. I understand this is a common problem with the B70. I love this brewer but buying a new one every 3 months is not an option especially if they will not honor the warranty based on when the brewer was made; not purchased.
Pros: Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Broke after 3 months
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Price of Convenience. Not Worth it.

The concept of a single cup system is likely to appeal most to households with one or two coffee drinkers. If you have four cups to make every morning, it can be a pain having to make them all in sequence as well as more costly than traditional systems. K cups (the individual coffee cups) can certainly be convenient, but they come at a price when compared to traditional coffee systems. The New York Times did the math. K cups work out around $50 a pound of coffee compared to about half that for a high end bag of beans or grounded coffee. You can decide if the "convenience" is worth twice the price. I have owned two of these Keurig coffee makers, both have stopped working within two years, making coffee a very expensive habit in my house. I feel let down by Keurig. When my first machine failed, I put it down to experience. When my second failed, I put it down to a product issue. I wrote to Keurig customer services expressing my disappointment. I got an email back asking me to call another department. They simply didn't care. I went back to a traditional coffee system. It was half the price of this Keurig, looks more stylish and it has the benefit of being able to set a timer (unlike the Keurig). I love my coffee. I don't love it enough to replace a Keurig which is twice the price of a traditional system every two years as well as pay twice as much for each cup of coffee. Also, since going back to a traditional system, I enjoy waking up to four cups of freshly brewed coffee without having to stand there making them one K cup at a time. I would definitely not recommend this coffee maker. In fact, I strongly recommend against it. Your call....

This thing breaks

The machines are poorly made. They break and there is no warranty. Just a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. That means nothing since it will break in about 6 months and there is nothing you can do.

Mixed Feelings

This is a wonderful machine for as long as it lasts. I bought my first Keurig machine in 2003. My 3rd just died this evening. My complaint is that they come with a 12 month warranty and my longest lasting machine has been 16 months. I descale and care for them as directed but the day comes too soon when all the controls go blank. I feel that for the price the quality is way too low.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile
