I brought my 1st Platinum in Feb 2010. I replaced it June 2010, Jan 2011 and Dec 2011. Each time it seems to be due to computer issues. Each time I called the Customer Service rep went thru the process of what was wrong with the brewer. Once it was determined that the problem couldn't resolved they sent me a new model without any hassle. This model is slightly different so maybe everything will be ok. My sister has had hers, a different model, for 4 years now and it is still going strong. I just love this coffee! But I would recommend a different model
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just received this model yesterday and I love the look. I had the older model for 2 years without any problems ever. I decided to upgrade for the newer model for my birthday and couldn't be happier. I love the color, love the look, love the coffee. I can't wait to pass the older one over to my daughter-inlaw for her to experience the Keurig craze.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Stylish, Durable, Fast

I bought this from [@] love it makes the best coffee love that I can also use it with my regular coffee too dont have to buys special K cups for it that was one of the draw backs while I did not get it before but on [@] it showed it came with its special K cup so you can drink your regular coffee with it..I really do love this coffee maker worth ever penny I paid thank god [@] has the easy pays love this ones again you will not go wrong with this coffee pot I promise..

Great until warranty ran out

I thought this was the best thing since sliced bread, even though the coffee was expensive. Almost 1 year to the week the warranty ran out and the machine would not work. Apparantly the pump was broken and could not be repaired. I swore I would never by another Keurig. However, this is what happens when your wife has everything she needs, and you are too lazy to actually shop...you wind up buying another coffee machine that you would not recomment to a friend.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great brewer, except for height

Like everything about it EXCEPT that my tall stainless steel mug won't fit to capture the brewed coffee. So I have to use another flatter mug to capture coffee, then pour into my mug of choice.. But still good - easy to use and quick.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Stylish

Expensive failure

Like most of the Keurig single cup coffee makers, it will fail, typically within a year. (guess what the warantee is) It is a fantastic toy and when it works it is awesome. Got mine replaced twice and third time the warantee expired. Did some blog checking and seen hundreds of similar horror stories from nearly every type of keurig device. Many had potential fixes but ultimately the thing just fails completely and with astonishing regularity. Now if I could just get the thing apart I might be able to fix it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this brewer as my annual Christmas gift to myself. I am so glad that I waited as I originally was contemplating purchasing the mini brewer. I absolutely L-O-V-E this brewer! Since I purchased this item, I tried a co-workers mini-brewer and more than likely I would have been disappointed since my Keurig is so much more convenient to use. I now find myself brewing in the late afternoon and evening, whether it be coffee, apple cider, cocoa or tea. Can't wait for the warmer weather to start drinking my favorite warm weather beverage - iced coffee. Keurig you have me addicted!

I would never buy a keurig again.

I had my Keurig for around 3 months when it started acting up. I called customer service and they walked me through unclogging the different placed within the device. It worked probably 4 times and then stopped all together. It is NOT a clogging issue, the water will not even pump from the container to the actual machine to heat up. Called again this morning and left a message for a call back....
Cons: Never works, Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile, Noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
