My brewer continues to break

The first time my brewer just stopped working, it was replaced by Keurig because it was still under warranty. Today, after my daughter made a beautiful batch of homemade biscotti cookies and we were looking forward to enjoying them with a personal Keurig cup of coffee, we discovered to our horror that our brewer had died a 2nd time. I love my Keurig brewer and I am sick that this has happened to me again. I only hope that the Keurig brewers that I bought for my daughter and my mother-in-law for gifts will last longer than mine.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile

Had my platinum for three years now!

Had my platinum for three years now and had no problems with it! During the first year I was drinking around eight gallons of coffee/tea a week so it got some heavy use. I have less free time now so I've cut back a little. I can't believe that some people are going through multiple brewers because of problems. Although nothing is perfect, if you are going through mulible machines you might have to look at yourself and how your using it. And as for durability you have to keep in mind it IS made of plastic and NOT steel so it's not indestructable. My machine has never needed descaling and has NEVER been used with tap water. I get my water from the awesome filtration system outside of the supermarket. This water is filtered using reverse osmosis and some other filtration processes, I also use the Keurig in tank filter. So to sum this up, AWESOME brewer with no problems!
Pros: Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast, Easy to clean, Flexability with my Kcup, Multiple Settings, Stylish
I would recommend this to a friend!

Let time be the judge

I have had my platinum brewer for 2 years and it is giving me trouble. Loved it while it was working but when you pay almost $200 for something you want it to last. The electronics is failing and won"t ready itself to brew. You have to unplug the unit and plug it back in in order to reset itself.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Noisy, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sick of "Prime"

I am so disappointed in this model. We are on our second one within 3 months. The first one started giving us an error message, otherwise known as "Prime", within 2 weeks. The replacement one does the same thing. This is after almost every single brew. I'm returning it and will not get this model again.

Prime time every time

When it was good, it was very very good,,,when it was bad it was horrid. After about 2-3 weeks I started getting the "prime" message, so I tried to make it better by following all of the videos on the web site. When I emailed the above problem and attempted remedies, I was instructed to do everything I just said I did. I must say, after I finally called, I was told a replacement would be sent and the representative was very accommodating and courteous. I do like everything else about the product, so I will wait and see and report on the results when I have had the replacement for a while.

Not worth the price

Like many of the other Keurig owners, I am on my 4th or 5th Keurig K75 Platinum Brewing System. Apparently, I like pain and frustration. I descale the machine 4 times annually and it continues to let me down year after year. Common maintenance or top of the line equipment will not help this product from inconsistent temperatures and erratic cups sizes. While convenient and quick, the cups are overpriced and create excessive rubbish. Considering other brands......too bad Keurig.

Keeps breaking on me

Very excited to buy a Keurig. Brought it home started using it, 2 weeks later it stopped working. After getting the run around with tech support I exchanged it. Again 2 - 3 weeks later, it just stops working. Won't brew, turns it self off. Very disappointed

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Love this brewer!

The Keurig brewer is convenient in that it only takes minutes to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee that tastes as good as any made in my peculator and I can control the strength; bold for my husband and a lighter roast for myself. Since my husband is the only one in the family to drink sweet tea for dinner, it seems unnecessary to make an entire pitcher. Fortunately, the brewer does that quickly too! My daughter loves the brewer's ability to make hot chocolate. This machine offers something for the entire family! Although I purchased the top-of-the-line brewer, its cup range doesn't accommodate my large a.m. coffee cup. However, it only takes a moment to re-set the brewer and add to the cup. Overall, I think this is an excellent product and I strongly recommend it!

Cons: Limited Cup Sizes
