I received mine as a gift from my sister, I just luv it. I haven't found just the right coffee yet, but I'm still trying!! Some of them are too strong or bitter for me. I use my own coffee with the filter basket. This is one of the best gifts that I have ever received!!!
Pros: Durable, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Stylish, Multiple Settings

Poor Quality Control

Extremely poor quality control. Count on Platinum failure within warranty period. On 6th unit and faulty pump/hangup now starting. Hard to understand how manufacturer admits problem yet unable to fix.
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received this as a Christmas Gift from my mom, she had bought herself one, and loved it so much she bought all her girls one. I used it every day, I don't know how I got along without it! Great for every day use, I now make and take my coffee to work in the morning, I used to not because I didn't want to brew a whole pot and waste most of it, so this is GREAT!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Awesome Coffee and Customer Service

I have this model and it had been working fabulously until recently. Started having a problem with the pump about a week ago and then stopped working completely. So why the 5 star rating? Because we called customer service and they were extremely polite and helpful and a replacement Keurig is now on it's way. How many companies do that anymore? So 5 stars for the great coffee and the excellent customer service. Thank you Keurig.

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Poor Quality; Great Customer Service

I received my brewer as a gift and absolutely loved it! I brewed 1-2 cups daily and having all the different varieties of K-Cups to choose from was great. After owning the brewer for just under a year, things started going wrong. I experienced a variety of problems such as: not brewing at all, brewing the wrong cup size, getting stuck on one cup size, only getting a few drops of coffee and the rest of the hot water running back into the water resorvoir tank. I emailed customer service and received some instructions on troubleshooting but there was no improvement. I then called customer service and they are sending me a replacement brewer (even though my warranty had expired a few weeks before I got around to calling). I have to say I have never received better customer service from any other company. I just hope the brewer issues are fixed and the new one lasts longer!!

Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Poor Quality

Problem after problem!

Had my first Keurig for years and it finally quit working. Was so happy with it that I bought another one. This time I bought the Platinum and after one year it began to have problems. It would sound like it was brewing, but nothing would come out. Descaling didn't work.
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Temperamental
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great coffee maker when it works BUT...

I have owned a Keurig for two years. I love the way it brews coffee and tea, tastes great. The problem is that after about 6 to 8 months the machine will cause problems no matter how much cleaning and filtering I have tried. The coffee makers just freeze. Thank God for Bed Bath & Beyond their return policy is great for Keurig they have replaced them all so far.. This is my third They have it partly right.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, HARD TO CLEAN

Love this machine

I have to say I love this machine and have a hard time drinking coffee any other way. But, I know there is always a but it is not very durable. This is my third in three years. The Keurig customer service is great. We worked through all the troubleshooting without success so I was sent another replacement brewer. I hope they fix this problem so I can use the same brewer for more than 10 months.
Pros: Variety of coffee, Multiple Settings, Customer Service, Whole family use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile
