Bought the unit about 1 1/2 ago. It was nice when it worked but stopped working. Descaled regularly. I tried all the recommendations on Youtube with no luck.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Fragile, Complicated, Pricey / Poor Value, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife and I originally purchased our B70 Platinum brewer in May of 2009. Just recently, we began having a problem with the brewer dispensing the correct amount of water. I contacted customer service and they walked me through the process of cleaning the exit needle with a paperclip. I should note that we only use bottled/filtered water in the water reservoir and regulary de-scale the brewer every eight to ten weeks. After performing the process of cleaning the exit needle several times, the problem persisted. The customer service agent advised me that since she could not resolve the problem, she would ship us a new brewer at no cost. I was amazed because I thought for sure that we would have to return the brewer for service and that it would take weeks for the repair and return of the brewer. We had our new brewer in just four days! I must say the Keurig stands behind their warranty and their product. I would highly recommend their products to everyone! Their customer service is EXCELLENT!!!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use

I love this coffee maker!!!!

I have always loved drinking coffee in the morning, but am NOT a morning person and hated dealing with measuring coffee and messing with the filters in the morning so I rarely got around to actually making it. Since I have had my keurig I have had had coffee daily! It takes literally just seconds to have a perfectly measured, great cup of coffee. I would never go back to the conventional coffee maker!

Really - the machine keeps shutting off!

Today is Jan27 - I received my much anticipated Keurig from the hubby as a Christmas present - we had it for two weeks and then it started shutting down after every cup - we took it back! Now a week in - the second one is doing the same thing. Not GOOD??? Anyone else??? I love the machine - and all the ease but really is this how it is going to go?? I want this machine.

Dont waste your money!

I purchased this brewer and had it for only about 2 weeks and problems started...first it would shut off by itself and no the auto on/off was not activated,then the water would brew and just empty into the reservoir. This was just such a hassle that I returned it and now have an Elite model which is working fine....so far! For the price these platinum series are a total waste of money. Research this product before buying please. peace!

I love the machine...it is quiet and makes great coffee. However! It shuts down in the middle of a brew. I replaced it twice and had the same problem. I won't replace it again. Although, I do love the concept.

Having same problem

Unfortunately I'm having the same problem with the machine turning off after brewing one cup. I would have to insert a safely pin into the machine needles to clean out the machine after EVERY cup of coffee to get it to turn back on (on the advice of the Keurig Tech Support People)! This is unacceptable! I've only had the machine since Christmas 2009! I have my second call into the tech people now because now it won't turn on at all! I LOVE this machine when it works properly and am hoping that they will find a solution to the problem. If/when they do, I'll happily return and update this review! Right now, I'm just very frustrated... it seems like I just wasted a LOT of money on my machine and accessories/k-cups!

Stopped Working

This is a great coffee maker if it worked. I had it 1 week and it would shut down after trying to pump water into tank. I have tried to get a hold of customer service tech, but they are too busy to help out. You have to wait 24-48 hours for a call back. And of course they only work business hours when I am at work. My friends got to purchase this coffee maker and it has been the biggest mistake ever. That first week I also purchased coffee and a mini. I will be returning everything. Shame on you Keurig. I will not be buying anymore of your products.
