His coffee is black and medium roast. Her coffee is sometimes black sometimes flavored and sometimes its tea. The is a great machine and stylish too. Glad my sister FB so much about it.
Pros: Stylish, Fast, Easy to use

LOVE my Keurig!!!

Cant say enough about my Keurig. I was hesitant about spending the money for one but have to say, the best investment I can remember making in an appliance. It is so clean, no mess and brews the perfect cup of coffee every time! Couldn't be more pleased. Customer service has been even better. Very knowledgagle and friendly staff. They totally stand behind their product. Had an older model that I purchased from an overstock store and had problems out of it. They promptly responded to my concerns and sent me a brand new newer model Keurig Platinum. My whole experience with the customer service team and my Keurig has been awesome!!!
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Durable, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Absolutely None

Don't expect to use more than 2 years

I love the keurig's for the convenience and being able to have different coffee/tea at the drop of a hat. I've had 9 brewers. 5 I purchased friends as gifts, 1 for my small office and 3 now at home. 7 have not lasted more than 14 to 16 months...that's including the ones I gave as gifts. The 2 still working at the office and for a friend are only 4 months old. So, as much as I love the no mess and ease and convenience, I'm not sure it's worth spending so much money when my $99 back up coffee maker has worked for over 15 years. I'm trying one more. I've had the elite and the platinum so far and the platinum is quieter and nicer with more sizes/iced coffee feature. One was graciously replaced by keurig so that was nice of them. If you have money to buy a new brewer every year or so, it's great. If you're on a tight budget you may want to reconsider. And, if you're a coffee addict, keep your old brewer for back up! Thus, I recommend with a HUGE warning!

Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile, Don't last

Failing to Deliver (coffee)

The first machine I got after 2 months the indicator 'Prime' would come up after each brew. You had to take the water container off to reset it. Called company they replaced it - great! Now 2 months later the same thing is happening!! Getting to difficult to make a cup of coffee!
Pros: Convenient, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

brewer is unreliable

I love the convenience of the Keurig brewer, however, the company MUST do something about its reliability. I am now on my 4th brewer in 2 years. Fortunately customer service has been amazing and replaced each brewer without charge (if they had not, I would have given up on the brewer). How about making this machine in the USA and giving our country jobs to make quality parts? Now that is something I would support! Anyway, I am hopeful that my 4th machine which is being shipped, will be improved from the last 3. I am only a single person that brewed about 3 cups per day. Each machine would start short-cupping and then eventually quit working after about 6 months-despite regular de-scaling. Definitely a problem with the pump.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my Keurig

I use my Keurig every single day, and have been doing that now for almost 3 years. I love love love the Keurig. I read through reviews where people are having problems with theirs lasting, but I haven't had any problems that would keep me from recommending (and I do often) this brewer to a friend. I have had it brew a smaller amount once or twice and that is it. My favorite thing is the My K-Cup accessory. Makes the coffee expense nominal.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Fast, Stylish, Easy to use, Durable
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN

Had my platinum for three years now!

Had my platinum for three years now and had no problems with it! During the first year I was drinking around eight gallons of coffee/tea a week so it got some heavy use. I have less free time now so I've cut back a little. I can't believe that some people are going through multiple brewers because of problems. Although nothing is perfect, if you are going through mulible machines you might have to look at yourself and how your using it. And as for durability you have to keep in mind it IS made of plastic and NOT steel so it's not indestructable. My machine has never needed descaling and has NEVER been used with tap water. I get my water from the awesome filtration system outside of the supermarket. This water is filtered using reverse osmosis and some other filtration processes, I also use the Keurig in tank filter. So to sum this up, AWESOME brewer with no problems!
Pros: Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Fast, Easy to clean, Flexability with my Kcup, Multiple Settings, Stylish

Keeping my fingers crossed

Hopefully my second Platinum brewer within a week will work better than the first. The first one had the word "Prime" come up a few times....took it back and exchanged it for this one. This new one was brewing quite slowly this morning. Took it apart and cleaned it, ran a few water only cycles when some interesting things (coffee grounds, hopefully) came out! It seems to be running fine now. I am excited about having this brewer and the coffee is quick and delicious! Can't wait to try the different flavored varieties, but will be disappointed if I keep having trouble with it. The folks I know that have them love them..that's why I took the $200+ plunge....
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
