I love my Keurig!!

I purchased my B70 Keurig brewer in 2009 and I love it, no problems until today. I went to make a cup of coffee and the machine was dead wouldn't power up I tried everything. I then called customer service and explained to the customer service agent Tabitha, what was going on and even though my warranty ran out awhile ago Tabitha, told me that they were sorry that my brewer was not working and that she was going to send me out a new one. I was shocked I never expected them to replace my machine I was waiting for them to tell me that I would have to invest in a new one but I'm happy that I won't have to do this. Thank You Keurig!! This is what I call awesome customer service and why I would only buy and recommend Keurig.
Pros: Stylish, Fast, Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Multiple Settings

On my 3rd Platinum Brewing System

I use the coffee system about 12 hours every day,7 days a week. and it works great for 12 months, then the system's internal parts start to fail, the coffee maker says it brewing and it is not, or it will brew on its own. problems always start after the one year warrenty is up.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Platinum Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Performance issues

The brewer is perfect for our everyday needs and is easy to use with great functional options. One drawback is that we are on the third one in two years. Each of the first two lasted about a year before breaking irreparably. On a positive note, customer service has been excellent in working through the issues with me, eventually replacing both brewers when a fix was not possible. The excellent customer service and the convenience of the K-Cups is what has prevented me from just going back to old pot method. If given the opportunity I probably would have went with a less costly version, I wonder sometimes if its all of the complex functionality in the Platinum that causes the brewer to malfunction.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish
Cons: Poor Quality, Pricey / Poor Value

Machine quality

We use the coffee maker daily and often, since their is only the two of us and it makes a good cup of coffee, but when it goes out we find our selves without a coffee maker. We discarded the first coffee maker, but when we experienced a problem with the second coffee maker contacted Keurig directly and it was replaced. we also purchased a back up coffee maker, so if this coffee maker does go out, we will be able to make a cup of coffee.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Complicated, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality issues?

There is obviously a major quality control problem with these brewers as so many folks have had to have new 'free' brewers shipped to them when troubleshooting did not resolve issues with their machines. I can only imagine that the reason these units are so overpriced relative to other coffee makers is because the company is continually sending out replacement units as the coffee makers continue to fail. I wish that the company could resolve these issues and put out a machine that was more durable. My Mr. Coffee lasted 8 years and was only replaced because I wanted one of these for convenience! I am a little sorry that I went for one of these machines.
Pros: Convenient
Cons: Quality, Pricey / Poor Value

My whole Family loves this Brewer

I have had no problems with any of the controls or sizes, I have a grind and brew coffee maker and for now it is retired. If any improvement I like to see, its the water tank that could be larger. That is the only thing I would like to see changed.

Go Keurig! Best Customer Service Ever!

I bought this brewer from a store in 2010, and used it for about 3 months and it broke. I just now called Keurig customer service and they are totally replacing my unit. We did a few simple troubleshooting tips over the phone (cleaned the needles) and that didn't fix it. The water pump seemed to be totally broken inside the brewer as the water never pumped out of the resivoir to heat up. The gentleman who i spoke with was very nice and professional, and I am absolutely blown away at the level of exceptional service provided. I have worked in a customer service postion on the phones for several years, and never had such good service. Thank you Keurig! You are truly a World-Class company!
