Don't buy this brewer

For the price you pay for this brewer, it is not worth it. I have had my brewer for less than two years and it stopped working. I followed the "Troubleshooting" section and still nothing. As it is past the 1 year warranty all Keurig wants to do is discount you another brewer (as I was reminded by customer service today). I will go back to using my old drip brewer that I paid 1/3 of the price for and it has lasted almost 20 years.....very disappointing.
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dies after warranty expires!

I loved my Keurig Platinum brewer. It worked well for the first year and then about a week after the warranty expired, it started slowing down. I have been through 2 cycles of de-scaling which helped for about a week. I have ALWAYS used filtered water and a keurig filter within the water reservoir. There is no reason for this to be happening other than manufacturer defect. The same exact thing happened to my parents Platinum just before their warrenty expired (lucky for them), and they were able to get an exchange. I don't think I'll be buying another one!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Durability

Squeezed two years out of it...

I've had this unit since Christmas 2010 and it started giving me issues almost nine months later. The pump started getting louder and started slowing down. I descaled it and have always used filtered water in it. I have the additional charcoal filter installed and it still needs to be cleaned frequently. Now I have to resort to advanced tactile remediation (hitting it) to get the water flowing. Probably needs to be redesigned with a stronger pump.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Not built to last, HARD TO CLEAN

Poor Quality, Never Again

I owned this brewer for a little over a year. Like the Keurig brewer it replaced, it began malfunctioning within a few months of purchase, until it reached the point where it would not brew at all. After many hours of cleaning, disassembling, flushing, descaling, etc., remains useless. The company offered to give me a a replacement brewer at a discount, which I declined. At this rate, my coffee is costing me too much in time and money. Had it with these brewers. Had it with Keurig.

On my 4th One in Four Months!

I just had to order my 4th maker! Three have failed me in four months. I am not sure what to do if this fails me again. Why why why are they failing at such an early time? They must be very poorly made. This is my last attempt.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile

Not worth it!

On my second unit..problems with both. First one not hot enough. Second one not has problem with "Prime" function and still not hot enough. Both units only months old.
Pros: Taste Is Good, Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Not hot enough
