2nd Keurig just died

I love the ease of the Keurig and not having to make a whole pot. The problem is that they don't last. This is my second Keurig to quit pumping the water correctly. Both lasted about a year and a half. They cost too much to last such a whort time.
Pros: Fast, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Not durable, Pricey / Poor Value

Help for the Prime code

When I called Keurig regarding the Prime message coming on, he had me unplug the machine and then turn the on-off button off and on 3 or 4 times with unit unplugged. Then, he had me replug the unit in and it has been fine ever since. Hope this helps.

third time a charm?

Third time a charm? We will see. The replacement (free) one just died after two months of warranty expiration. This was the replacement one that died a year ago. So, thats two of these in two years! Not a good testament for the quality. I agreed to the "discounted" price ([$])for a third machine because the wife loves it and we have a bunch of Kcups sitting around. This, i promise will be the last! poor quality! These things cost too much for this type of durability issues! I think we are on our way back to good ole' fashioned coffee maker, sorry Keurig, fix your problems and maybe you will keep your customers.

The Coffee it makes is great

When I first purchased this coffee pot I tried a variety of different flavors and settled with Donut House Brand, and fell in love with it's taste. I bought it in March 2012 and use it 5 or 6 times a day with no problem. after spending 23 years in the U.S.N Submarine force drinking it Black and bitter makes you a specialist in coffee taste
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN

should last longer

So excited to get a Keurig for a gift in 2008. Only 4 years later I was very surprised that mine couldn't be de-scaled, and then was told it was not repairable. I only used filtered water. Only option was to get a new one. It really should last longer. No would not recommend to a friend after my experience and reading reviews

2nd machine after 16 months

I am on my 2nd machine after using the 1st one for 16 months. The pump quit working. Keurig did replace it - after I sent an email. My phone conversation with customer service got me no where. For the price I would hope the machine would brew more than 1 cup of coffee a day for 16 months. I am the only coffee/tea drinker in my house, which is why I bought the Keurig.
Pros: Easy to use, Fast, Multiple Settings
Cons: Pump malfunction, Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile

Even with using filtered water, it is so clogged up after 1 year, it is impossible to get working again
