Prime Issue as well...

I got the Limited Edition brewer for Christmas 2011, about 2mos later I don't get a full cup of coffee. And then I get the "prime" light and water tank flashing. I call customer service and she is able to get it primed again so that it works. Less than a week later, the prime issue starts all over again. So I call customer service and they have to replace my limited edition with the platinum version. Now I wait 3-7 days before I get the new machine...I have to agree with other's postings ....if these machines cost as much as they do, they shouldn't be breaking like they are...so much money and within month's to a year the machine is junk. I too figured, the more you pay, the better quality...boy was I wrong. Keeping my fingers crossed that the new one works better and lasts a very very long time!! Use higher quality parts and make a better machine. I do have to say that customer service is very friendly - kudos to them.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Noisy

Works half the time

Received as wedding gift, started having problems with the brewer only after a year of having it. Keurig would not replace it for us. Very hard to clean and hesitates to brew over half the time, even though it's been cleaned and descaled routinely. I would not recommend this to anyone and I would never buy this keurig model again. Works nicely when it actually does work, which isn't often.
Pros: Fast, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Pricey / Poor Value

Another Replacement Brewer...

So my 4th replacement brewer should be at my house today. Corporate decided to upgrade it to this platinum edition from the special addition since I've been having problems (3Xs). The problem is the "prime" issue. Everytime I brew my first cup of the day, I can hear the pump trying to pump water but after 45sec or so will fail and light up the "prime" on the display. My original (which lasted 2 months) and my 2 replacement which lasted less than 3 weeks had the exact same problem. Hopefully my 4th brewer will work but will not hope too much. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars is for their customer service. They were nice and offered to replace the broken brewers. And I'll keep calling them up and having them replace it until I get a continuous working brewer with now "prime" issue.
Pros: Fast, Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Prime issue, Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile

Great brewer, with quick heat-up from cold shutdown. It's been reliable through the years, and it's taken good care of me (because I take good care of it). I strongly recommend using the in tank filter, especially if you have hard water. Each cup tastes great, and I've had absolutely no problems with it. However, my girlfriend, having the same brewer, did not have the same luck, the pump went bad. We called, and got it replaced (and it came with the larger tank, too!).
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Fast, Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish

Ok, here is the skinny on this product. I like easy, I hate fooling around with grinds and its too bad because I know I would get a better cup if I did. The brewer is fast, easy and when I am half awake, when I wake up is where it works for me. Now about the K-cups and the coffee. Most of the time I need two K-cups and I use the smaller of the choices for cup sizes otherwise I find this coffee maker makes relatively weak coffee. It winds up being a pricey convenience, it depends how much you like convenience, clearly I do. I think the speed of this machine does not allow the hot water to make enough contact with the coffee grounds, hence the weaker coffee and the need for two cups. Otherwise besides the expense it is great!
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value

I absolutely love this Keurig, while it is wokring good. The first one lasted about 3 months, the second one lasted about 3 days. It is really frustating to have such an awesome product that is unreliable. Hopefully I have just got two duds. [@]has an awesomer return policy so I have not had any issues there. Going to try a 3rd one. Maybe 3rd times the charm.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Fast, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Does Not Last, Pricey / Poor Value

very convenient for my elderly mom; one stop coffee cup; quick and easy; until electrical shorted and it only poors 1/3 cup now. we have to push start 3 x's to get a full cup -- we can live with this until it gets old; I guess. I like the machine; the single shots can be used twice; can get expensive; especially if you use 8 in one day.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Fast, Stylish, Durable, Easy to use, Convenient for elderly, Cup size option
Cons: Cup size stuck, Water not hot, Electrical short, Good to warranty date

It was good while it lasted, but...

Bought it from [@], worked great for 14 months and today it broke. Screen said to descale, but the descaling process is not even working - it's not even intaking the vinegar. We've always only used filtered water in the brewer, never anything from tap. Seems like it broke just after the 1 year warranty expired. Had a regular Cuisinart drip coffee maker before this that worked great for 5 years without an issue; might have to pull it out and forget this whole Keurig deal. Did I mention that the brewers AND the cost per cup are super expensive on Keurig??

Cons: Fragile, HARD TO CLEAN, Not durable, Pricey / Poor Value
