Great while it lasted

I loved this thing right up until it broke. One day it said "de-scale" and the next day it seized up and wouldn't work at all. It is awesome coffee and I'll probably get another one when I run out of emergency Folger's and get sick of messing with the old drip coffee maker. It lasted about 7 months, not long enough for a [$] coffee maker.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

PUMP DIED after 2 years!!!

this product fell well short of my expectations, When I purchased this coffee maker I thought I would have it for quite some time...WRONG !!! After calling customer service and going through a troubleshoot I was told that the pump is probably done and it is not replaceable and since the warranty is only for 1 year the best they can do is give me $40 off the purchase of a new one ([$]). Why would I buy a new one I only owned this one just shy of 3years and it died. Not to mention it was only used moderately at the most and mostly for tea i've had a br**n coffee maker which is probably over 20y/o that was given to me by mother that i guess I'll be going back to Thanks Keurig !!!! If anyone has questions about this product email me bruno3581[@] EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER BRUNO GONCALVES

Love Customer Service!

We got this brewer as a wedding present last year. We are now on our third one. Obviously the brewer itself still has some issues, but customer service has been outstanding about making it right for us. I call, we troubleshoot, they send a new brewer (and a couple free boxes of K-Cups), I send back the K-Cup holder, it's as easy as that. Customer service doesn't get any better than the folks at Keurig, they truly stand behind their product. I think the most recent one I've had to send back was beyond the one year warranty too!
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Fragile

Keurig Platinum worked for four months (once a day use)and then it started having some problems. It will brew just half a cup even it was set to a whole cup. Then it started making weird loud noise once I start making coffee. Now, it is totally useless. It will stop brewing in the middle of a cup. Will show "brewing" but water would stop coming out. I have to turn it off and on just to get a whole cup of coffee out of it. To my dismay, I found out that hot water is coming out of the vent into the water reservoir...great! now I have hot water in there instead of my cup.For this amount of money, I expect it to last and be of use a little longer. What a waste of money for such a bad product.

My machine broke in less than two years

I use my machine on weekends only and it broke in less than two years. It had been having issue for the last few months but it won't even brew now. Cleaned it twice and nothing helps. It is very expensive if I need to replace it every two years. It was great while it worked though. Sad to see such poor reliability.
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Fragile

Problems? You may not be doing right.

Usually I am a little quick to write reviews, especially when something doesn't work right. But I held off for a few months this time. Bought it for Christmas 2012 and within a month had problems. It would not cycle correctly, asking me to "Prime" constantly after I made a cup even though there was ample water in the reservoir. I was forced to always remove the reservoir and put it back on. I did everything I could think of, cleaned the reservoir, the K-Cup holder, even descaled it. My calls to Customer Service did not remedy the problem. But finally I spoke with one Rep that cured my ills and frustration. She pointed out that people have a tendency to want to fill (keep full) the reservoir before it says "Add Water". This throws the machine out of sync. Must have some sort of micro-processor that remembers how much water is in the reservoir and how much is used since last fill. So, kept cycling it until it told me to "Add Water". Then filled it. It has worked flawlessly ever since once it got back into sync. Now I only fill it when it tells me to Add Water, and always fill the reservoir while attached in place. I never remove it except to clean it. Now, for the rest of the review. I used a high end Cuisinart coffee maker before my Keurig. I ground my own coffee (never the canned stuff, which is like using worm dirt in my opinion). I am a morning person and drink 2 cups in the A.M., and occasionally one later in the day. Even though the first cup was great in the Cuisinart, the second cup was not as good having sat for some time on the warmer. Any coffee connoisseur will tell you that keeping the coffee on "warm" or reheating it, especially microwave, is death to the coffee flavor. I like my last cup to taste as good as my first cup. My Keurig solves this problem as I have a consistent fresh cup each time. No more waste. I love the multi selection for cup sizes. I usually use the max cup size, but if I want it a little stronger I use a smaller cup size. I also love the K-Cups for quick convenience. It only costs about $0.33 to $0.60 per cup, depending on brand and if you hit a good coupon or sale. In reality, that's not a lot for great cup of coffee. And, it's a heck-of-a-lot cheaper than any drive-through. I also have my own favorite beans that I can grind and use with an optional My K-Cup reusable filter. They say, "you get what you pay for", and so far I've gotten everything I paid for.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Only Noisy First Thing Am

Buy at Bed, Bath and Beyond!

I really want to love my Keurig. We bought the B70 Platinum model less than a year ago and loved being able to easily enjoy a variety of beverages at any time. No mess, no fuss. However, our brewer stopped working properly and none of the recommended "fixes" helped. It would brew for 3 seconds, then stop. You had to restart the brew 6-7 times to get one cup of coffee. Many, MANY online reviews point to this being a common problem. Not good, Keurig, for an expensive machine less than one year old! The GREAT thing is that I had bought it at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Their Customer Service is fantastic! I just brought in the old machine and they had me pick out a new, comparable replacement, the K75 Platinum. I hope this one lasts a long time, but it's nice to know that Bed, Bath, and Beyond will replace it free if it doesn't last.
Pros: Fast, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish
Cons: Doesn't last very long, Pricey / Poor Value

Not durable

Loved my Keurig for the first year and a half until it stopped working! It would make noise like it wanted to brew, but nothing happened. I tried cleaning it and cleaning it and cleaning it to no avail. My daughter had the same problem with hers after about the same amount of time. A friend of mine said hers did the same thing while it was still under warranty so she was able to get a replacement for free. It's a great idea but not durable for the money. It should last longer than 18 months!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Stylish
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
