My very first Blizzard was amazing and lasted for years. My last two, same model, barely lasted a year each. So disappointing. It's like the company doesn't care. Hope to find a replacement and stop wasting my money on this one. I've purchased probably 8 of these fans over the course of 18 years. Maybe they see this and produce a fan like they did years ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my 2nd Holmes Blizzard Fan. The 1st one lasted almosted 20 years. I was so happy to see that this particular fan was still being made. You wouldn't think this small fan could keep you cool but it does! The air that flows from this fan is very cold, which you don't find with many other small fans. (And that's on level 1 not level 3) I always run hot and hate the heat!! So I know a good fan from a bad fan lol. This is an excellent fan! I also use it for noise reduction when I sleep. It's the best! I can't sleep without this fan! Can't say enough good things about it! Thank you Holmes for continuing to make this Blizzard Fan! (Please keep in mind I will need another one in 20 years!:) )

Hi, is there a way to adjust the speed? I turn it to the lowest level and still blowing very strong and making a lot of noise.
