Quiet & circulate

I use it in the bedroom on the lowest speed, it circulate the air very well & it helps me sleep better. I don't have another fan to compare it with.
Pros: Circulate, Good Power Output, Quiet

Does a good job but the stand could have been better.

The fan is great. Quieter than most fans of that size and power. The stand is minimalistic however, can not be adjusted up or down. My neighbor living below my apartment complained about vibration even though we did not feel or hear any vibration.
Pros: Durable, Good Power Output, Lightweight, Quiet
Cons: Lacks Adjustability, Unstable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

They say this fan is quiet;not really. You can still hear it going,although it is quieter than other fan models. It circulates the air around the room much like a rotating fan does,but this one is stationary. I lost screws and the front of the fan had one of the clips break;Vornado replaced both items free of charge. Got this fan on sale,but it is worth every penny!! Glad I bought it!

I bought the 783 today. This fan works really well!. I am happy with its performance. It blows alot of air. I noticed on this one it has ball bearings which lets it spin down really well when turned of. I will be buying another 783 sometime. Vornado, your Air Circulators are great fans and have pleased me with their performance and quality. I am a happy Australian customer!
