The side of the toaster gave me 2nd degree burn

As I was toasting my pop tart it got jammed inside and wouldn’t come out, the toaster jammed and the button to release the food got stuck. The toaster starting smoking and as I tried to unplug it the the pastry popped out causing me to hit my arm against the toaster. I have 2nd degree burn now with blisters and no oven :(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lasted Less than One Year

This toaster lasted less than one year. It will not lock into position when you push the lever down to begin toasting. The heating elements only work when the lever in down. Even when it was new, it never toasted both sides of the bread.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
