We actually bought this after buying my daughter the 4 slice. They are both good quality, light weight and work so well, easy and the larger slots are the best!

We are liking our toaster and using # 4 setting mostly and so far not needing the defrost cycle yet. Have keep after the emptying the crumb tray.

Toasts Unevenly

I bought this toaster to replace one that toasts unevenly. Unfortunately this toaster is worse than the one I already own. This toaster not only toasts unevenly, but it will also burn the bread. So, now I own 2 toasters that don't do the job like they are supposed to do it. Very disappointed.

Toaster won’t shut off after toast pops up

Owned this toaster for a couple years but recently it will stay hot even after toast pops up and is removed. Found the toaster was still hot hours after it was used. I have to unplug the toaster right after using it.

Bagel function does not work

Our old Black&Decker Toaster failed after many years of faithful service. When we started shopping for a replacement, the one feature we wanted again was the Bagel button. A few other manufacturers offered Toasters with a Bagel button, but it would only extend the Toasting Time – not turn off the outer coils. The Black&Decker T2569B is supposed to turn off the outer coils when the Bagel button is pressed. It does not. Very disappointing.

Terrible!

We have had this toaster under a year and now it is burning toast even on the 2 setting. I think it should have lasted longer than a few months!!!!
