Plastic coupling broke after just 4 uses. Has been sitting in my cupboard-broken-for more than 5 years, as I can't find any replacement part. I will never purchase anothe B&D appliance of any kind ever again.

Not Happy

I got this Power Pro II for Christmas last year. I used it once over the holidays on slicing several vegetables. I used it against n a couple more times . Then I put it away until i would be entertaining more guests. Well, Today is the day- I'm having a lot of people over tomorrow and planned to make several things today using my food processor. Well, its a good thing I planned ahead, because when I set up to grate some cabbage, nothing happened. i had everything "locked in" properly, added some lettuce, pushed pulse, but nothing happened. Then I tried turning it just to on, but that had no positive result either. I've locked/ unlocked the container, plugged and un-plugged the machine, On, Off, Pulse, forget it. Nothing happens. My husband fiddled with it the next day to see if he could get it to work. He the took the post for the grater and pushed it into the reset button at the top front of the unit and to his surprise it worked, but when he pushed the pulse button nothing
I am NOT happy!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cheap plastic

Like many others have mentioned the plastic parts broke after a couple of months and the entire machine went in the garbage.

Tricky nut butter

I used my first one for a year untill it died making nut butter, thus leasing it on for 5 minutes. Now I bought another one because so far I have always been content with the machine, but with a 600watt motor, shouldn’t it be able to stay on for a while before it burns out?

wrong parts in box, seems to not last.

Received this as a gift at xmas, food processor works great but i am unable to use the blender as it seems the wrong glass jar was in the box? the base has spikes but the glass blender jar has a square peg in the center so it doesnt spin the blades.

Broke On First Use!

Took it out of the box yesterday and washed it to set it up nicely on my counter and decided to try out the food processor today and it broke after 10 seconds of using it! I would appreciate if someone could contact me!

Coupling/Drive Clutch Broke

Reading other reviews, this seems to be a common problem. The plastic coupling/drive clutch broke. I've searched for a replacement part but cannot find one. Does one exist? The blender/food processor does not function without it.
