Essential broken plastic part

I use my blender a lot. When I used the blender it initially worked fine. As in some other reviews the plastic piece above the gears breaks and my whole base that powers the machine does not work. I can't even find a part number or any where to order parts ... Unfortunately the whole product is next to useless with out that one piece ... where do I go from here ... otherwise ... good product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Received as gift, loved it, until it broke!

Received this as a Christmas gift and loved it, then it broke and I can't find where to order a replacement part. The gear on the bottom of the food processor bowl just cracked right in half so now it is unusable.

Not worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of years ago and the motor coupling broke you can't find no parts for this 2 in1 processor only the parts I do not need so that was a waste of money.

Did a great job until it broke

I have had mine for several years and have been very pleased with it. Now the gear for the blender has rounded out so I can no longer use the blender. The food processor still works great. Tried to find parts to repair it but they don’t seem to be available. Would be willing to purchase an entire new base if it’s available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wide-mouth I think not

I tried to use the wide-mouth opening. But the food processor will not operate without "H". How do I use a wide-mouth opening on this food processor??

Cheap, cheap, cheap

I bought this machine not even a year ago and already after 2 month it was broken. Of course, the guarantee was over and I couldn't return it. So, I kind of repair it myself using epoxy. It was the rotor piece that was all eroded so the blades wouldn't turn anymore. It worked out for a while. Then, last week again I try to use it and the blades are not chopping. I check everything to find out that all the piece (in plastic of course!) attached to the motor was broken. Now, I really can't repair that and I will have to throw everything including all the bowls and types of blades in the garbage. I'm frustrated because I believe the company those days are designing machinesl with cheaper and cheaper material so that they will break easily. And we're thinking about environement and sustainability!!!!
Bottom line: I won't buy anymore from that company and I'll go to a thrift store buy a used machine: at least I will reuse something!

This product lasted 6 months

I got this for my wedding in September 2011. After a few months of use (2-3 times a week) I started smelling burning plastic. The part of the base where the blade's metal knob fits to turn the blade started wearing away, and today there are no more "teeth" left for the blade knob to hold on to to turn. The result? The blade doesn't turn and the appliance is useless.

Blender does not last for long!

The blender coupling wears out soon rendering the blender useless. Fortunately you can still use the food processor as it does not use the same coupling. The unit needs to be locked in place to start working and can sometimes be tricky.
