I bought this about 5 years ago and I used it at least once a week if not more. I love it but sadly just last week there were white fumes coming from the base. I would love to buy the same one or replace the base. Is there a way to replace only the base?

3rd Time is the Charm!

This Food Processor/Blender is fantastic! It has enough power to make a great dough, and shred's a whole block of cheese (24 oz.) in about 3 seconds! I love the fact that the blade is a single reversible blade with shredding on one side and slicing on the other, not two separate blades. The blender jar is GLASS not plastic like most you see these days! It mixes things such as a milk shake in know time at all. Because you use the same base as the food processor you only have the "pulse" and "on" button, but I have found it to work as well if not better than any other blender with all the additional buttons. I would not hesitate to buy this product again or give as a gift.

Great value, quality and performance! I bought it as a replacement for another brand food processor and this one is 100% more efficient!

It works great as a food processor and works great as a Blender, crushes ice like nothing, I have had it over a year and still working like new! Love it.

I never used the blender much and the motor burnt out quickly. Only made smoothies.

cheap quality, parts not available to replace

i bought two of the same processor for myself and my dad. unfortunately both of the had issues with the drive parts as mentioned others 2 months ago. i am searching for parts. but no luck. i hope black and Decker will come up with a solution as the product still available on the market and people like me still want to use the 2-in-1.

A broken plastic ring makes unit useless

As others have stated my blender has a broken ring at the base, It has been reported on here several times but yet I do not see the replacement part being offered. Has anyone found a replacement ring?

I also had the coupler? between the base and the food processor bowl. Is it possible to replace. Nothing works without it.
