I spent almost a year looking for the "right" gas cooktop I love to cook, but my kitchen was remodeled in the 1980's by the previous owner and the cooktop was not up to my standards. Very slow boiling because it was a low BTU unit. The 20,000 BTU center burner boiled my water twice as fast as my previous cooktop. I also paid extra to get the griddle..... I used the griddle feature with the supplied griddle today. It cooked evenly and perfect!

Great cooktop

I haven't used the griddle that comes with this cooktop, but imagine it will be a nice feature. The burners have different power levels, so you can choose which burner to use to simmer sauce, as opposed to getting a pot of water boiling for pasta. It cleans up nicely. The grates weigh a ton, but I guess that means they are sturdy. All in all, it's everything I would look for in a cooktop.

We had this installed about 10 days ago and absolutely love it. We replaced an older GE Profile gas cooktop (about 13 years old) because two of the back burners would not light any more. We wanted to stick with the GE Profile for consistency with all of our other appliances and we could not be happier with this product. So far it meets and exceeds our expectations! All of the burners come to heat quickly, I love the simmer burner. I've only needed to use the PowerBoil burner once and it was quick and efficient! I have not tried the griddle feature yet. It is much easier to keep clean than our older cooktop and I love the heavy iron grates. Our installer showed me the control lock feature - great if watching grandkids, I also love the backlit control knobs. Very classy!

THIS COOKTOP GETS THE JOB DONE. BURNERS FIRE UP IMMEDIATELY AND HAVE NO PROBLEM GETTING THINGS HOT. WELL BUILT!
