My first Epson. Mostly had HP and Dell. Easy to set-up. Photo was beautiful...haven't done anything else yet.

I have only had the opportunity to use it a couple of times so far but find it to be an excellent printer. Look forward to using it for the future.

Excellant product

Having several Epson printers over the years, with the latest being an Artisan 810, this one is the bet of them all. Installation was a breeze. Print quality and speed is really good. Touch screen features are easy to use, and the auto 2 sided copying is great. We are heavy printer users and trust it will last as long as the 810. The only drawback I still see is that it still has the same weak paper catcher which broke on our 810. Epson should really do something to strengthen the design.

Works Like A Charm

Extremely pleased with this printer. Does all the things I need. The WiFi works seamlessly. Easy to set up. I like being able to close up the ADF flap as it makes for a very nice look. Everything works extremely well. It would have been nice to have an envelope feeder. But all in all a very nice printer for my home use.

Epson Artisan 837

Printer is a good all-in-one - wireless setup is not for novices; site also leaves something to be desired. Registered twice and still no printer shows up in my account.

Reliability
on November 25, 2012

I made this purchase to resolve disappointing reliability issues I experienced with a competitor.
That printer, I thought, was recommended by Apple Inc. for product satisfaction. In reality the only thing Apple could assure was that the printer company would honor their guaranty. This did not prevent numerous down-time waiting for replacement parts and two complete printers. The last failure was the last straw. They wanted to send a third printer if I paid out-of-pocket for additional warranties
This time I did more extensive research before purchasing, and found that Epson was meeting customer satisfaction standards.
A word of warning; don't always be impressed by big companies.

What a difference!

I bought the Artisan 837 because my R220 developed old age and wear, causing problems with DVD printing. I read about the Artisan series.
WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The clarity of color is even and the edges are clean. It also doesn't have the removable tray (that became a annoying problem in the 220). BETTER!
And I got in a GREAT DEAL!

Paper Tray

It would be nice if the paper tray was larger to hold more paper. I retired March of 2012 and have worked in the business world since I was out of high school. I guess I am use to the companies larger printer which would hold 500 sheets at a time, but I still believe the paper tray should be made larger to hold more paper.
