I can not tell you how thrilled I am with my Artisan 837 printer by Epson. It is compact, versatile, easy to use and prints beautifully on a variety of papers.

I just upgraded from an Artisan 700 to the new Artisan 837. What an improvement! WiFi setup was very easy, all instructions were easy to follow. Had to download the new drivers and software from Epson Support since I have two Macs running OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), and everything works including printing of CDs, scanning (I use Vuescan), and printing. Much quieter, nice build quality. Have not yet used the ADF, but printed some photos and they are excellent. USes the same ink as the other Artisan series including my old 700.

New printer

Just installed it. Took a bit of doing. I'm guessing I should have removed the existing printer first. Once I did that, insallation went well. Did some test prints. Produces very nice jobs. A little noisy, but I'm guessing that's to be expected from all none laser jet printers. Overall, I'm happy.

I purchased this printer primarily for "AirPrint" capabilities with Mac products. The installation process was excellent and I had no glitches. However, I wish Epson would enhance their software with respect to AirPrint capabilities. For example, the software should allow you to print greyscale and select which pages you want to print on iPhone, iPad, and any other computer you have on the network. I hope this is technically possible with future upgrades.

I had bought a different printer because this was sold out but I got it home set it up and it never printed correctly - it was from a different manufacturer. I returned that and I was lucky that there was one of these left on the shelf. I brought it home and set it up very easily on my wireless network. It is amazing we can print from any room in the house using a laptop or iphone. It has little to no noise like the other model and prints beautifully! Im very excited about my purchase!!!
