Thanks Epson for a great product for my home use. I have been using Epson professional printers for years and this is my first home printer. Set up was well documented and simple to install. I really like this product (Artisan 837). Couldn't be happier.

I just purchased a 837 printer and I love it, I just printed photos from my dest top and they are beautiful the five color ink makes them what they are!! Then I scaned a document and the print was just fine. the set-up was very easy just follow the instructions step by step. I'am 75 years old and if I can do it anybody can, I'am also a novice. Thank you Epson for the 837 keep up the good products

Great printer

I am pretty out of the " loop" when it comes to computers and electronics. My son set my printer up-he's an IT Tech (thank goodness). We were having a family party and he briefly showed the display on the printer and told me a few things that went in one ear & out the other. He did put an icon on the computer so even though the book didn't have much info. the computer icon did. I couldn't figure out where the paper went and then it was pretty cut & dry when I read the icon thingy. I just stuffed it into the other printer I had. Anyway everything seems to work. I even figured out the fax. If I want to get more serious ex. printing pictures etc. I'm going to wait for my grandkids to come over. Grandma used a teletype machine back in the 60's working for the government and this electronic stuff is out of my league. Nice though.

Dumped a black nozzle blocked 810 with resultant, constant prtg problems with WIN 7 switch. Internet comments confirmed wide spread problem & lack of cleaning method. Cleaning cycle made it worse.
Why buy an 837 ? Stupidity + DVD prtg + no love for HP + 800 familiarity + deplorable habit.
You have a severe problem. Why don't you fix it ?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like the Epson printer. Very easy to use and performs beautifully. Prior to this I had another brand of printer that was difficult to use and was always giving me problems.

Just installed Artisan 837

The installation, though lengthy, was very easily done. It installed with NO gliches, and prints quite fast. I'm not sure how long the ink cartridges will last, but am sure they will be Ok. The installation of ink is also very easy (simple). While much different then my old printer, I am looking forward to getting a lot of use from my Artisan 837.
