pretty good printer with limitations

I had hopes this would be better. I use the printer to scan and print for layered digital art. The copier does not produce true color, so I can't use that to get the results I need.
The scanner does produce beautiful copies of the material I put in, although I can't use the full dpi capacity with my computer because of insufficient memory.
The set-up is easy and the printer is easy to use. I would recommend it with the caveat that using it for fine art is limited. Maybe it's good for printing photos from a memory card. I have not tried that yet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Paper cassette is sometimes difficult to pull out.
This seems to be a general problem with most Epson printers.

Suggest reengineer to correct this problem.
Otherwise, a quality product.

Epson Artisan 837 all in one printer

Had it two weeks, and am constantly having issues with paper loader tray. Message keeps coming up paper tray empty when it is not! Cannot print from computer or I phone...same message, paper is empty. Any suggestions?

Compared with other printers the color is the best. There is only 1 drawback for me: The paper tray is very inconvenient when printing multiple sheets or multiple pictures. You can't add paper while the printer is printing.

Just set this up yesterday. So far, so good. E-Z setup and everything works as should. Two minor issues: The touch screen is not as sensitive as I would like. I understood there was faxing software allowing sending through the computer vs over a land line.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only had for about 1 week but so far living up to all the printer capabilities it has. Dvd printing is great no coasters yet.
